Summary: Does the job, except for that light.
Review: I bought the cradle for use with my Tungsten T3. It does the job; it's solid enough that it doesn't slide around on my desk, and guides the T3 to the connection port with little effort. My only complaint is that while the white LED glow that emanates from the base looks nice, I find it somewhat annoying. As an LED, it doesn't generate any noticeable heat and I'm sure that it draws very little power; still, it's a feature I'd like to be able to disable without having to unplug the AC adapter.

Summary: Fine unit
Review: I wanted a second cradle to have at the office instead of a standalone cable, so I decided to give this one a try. When I purchased this unit, it was around half of the listed price. I can notice some differences on this cradle compared to the standard one.

- First off, the footprint is quite smaller in depth. Of course the palm fits into it, but unlike my Palm Vx cradle, the palm body doesn't rest onto the base. This is a bit scary if you get nonchalant and miss locking the palm in place. But I noticed the standard Tungsten cradle also does this. I guess this is the tradeoff for universal connection.
- The hotsync button glows green when there's a connection with the palm and the usb port plugged in.
- The backlight stays on all the time, and it looks neat, but you may not want the glow to stay on. You can unplug the power from the back of the cradle, but otherwise you have a purple glow going on.
-The one thing that I don't like is that the hotsync button is pretty stiff, much more than on the standard cradle. I can just push on the standard button with my finger and it compresses, but with this cradle, I use my thumb and wrap my fingers around the back. Nothing major, just awkward for the time being.

Otherwise, the unit is good and it is better looking than the standard black cradle. It matches the T2 & T3 body better than the TT. This is a fine product and is definitely sharper looking, and if it's around the same price as the standard unit, I'd go for this one if you wanted an additional unit/replacement.

Summary: Not totally convinced yet.
Review: I'm still a little bitter over buying Palm's piece of crap usb sync cord which broke after maybe three uses. This new cradle gets 5 stars for style, but a 3 for usability. The always-on LCD doesn't bug me much because I bought this cradle to use in my office, so I'm not there when it's dark. The light isn't that noticeable under normal lighting conditions.

I find that it doesn't connect very securely to the palm. You have to pay attention and make sure that the green light is on indicating that your PDA is charging. In all fairness, I just got a new PDA case that required me to put velco on the back of my palm....so maybe the thickness of the velcro is causing some of my connection troubles. But I don't have this issue with my regular cradle at home.

So far this cradle is working pretty well, I just wish it connected as nicely & securely as the traditional cradle. A slight jar or bump will cause the PDA to lose connection to the device. So you might leave it at your desk and come back to find that it hasn't charged after all. So watch out!

Summary: The cradle that should have come with the Tungsten T3
Review: In short, this is the cradle that should have come with the Tungsten T3...it is as sleek and beautiful as the T3 and is also a perfect color match. Looks as good on your desk without a Palm as it does with one. Too bad it's so expensive though...wait for the next sale to get one.

Summary: Great things come in small packages.
Review: This cradle works as advertised. It is dramatically smaller than the standard cradle that came with my Tungsten C. The connection to the palm is much tighter than the standard cradle - you can feel the little clips click into the Palm which assures me of a good connection. It is cool with the lights, but as mentioned in another review, you can't turn off the backlight unless you unplug it. The backlight is brighter than I expected, but I like that fact...

I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a cool looking, small sized replacement or spare.

Summary: Good cradle - heavy power supply
Review: This is a good charger that works as advertised.
However, I had hoped I could also use it as a travel charger. It can work that way, but the power supply is heavy and so it is not optimal for that purpose.
