Rating: Summary: Solid Investment Review: I recently purchased a Palm Tungsten E and one of these screen protectors was included in the package. Seeing that it was free, I decided to give it a try. It took a little work getting the bubbles out since it was my first time applying the protector (it's easier the second time around when you've done it before), but I was surprised how easy it was. Just cut along the guidelines, remove the backing, and slowly apply the protector.
The result was impressive. I expected it to be intrusive and shoddy, but was pleasantly surprised. The screen protector actually makes it easier to write with the stylus (it glides much more smoothly across the screen and doesn't catch at all), and it definitely does a good job of guarding against minor scratches and scuffs. Plus, you don't even realize the protector is on the screen when your Palm is turned on, as it becomes nearly invisible.
I highly recommend these if you're looking to protect the most important area of your Palm - the screen.
Rating: Summary: Cutting your own screen protector Review: I've been using screen protectors from Palm (now PalmOne) and other brands for a long time. I bought a T3 and my surprise, when I got the screen protector pack was the need to cut myself the protector. Or you have a precise use of scissors or your work will look bad in your palm. I'm not happy, but right now for T3 people have no options.Otherwise I would prefer (even paying extra bucks) a pre-cutted protectors.
Rating: Summary: Protect your investment! Review: The newer, brighter screens on the Tungstens and Zire 71 are also softer. They scratch easily. My Tungsten T3 was showing marks on the common areas of the screen within a few weeks. Unfortunately, I didn't get these from the very beginning. At least now it wont get any worse. A little difficult to apply, but if you carefully apply one edge first and slowly roll it on while smoothing with the included cloth, you can get it on perfectly. It will make the screen slightly less bright and can look poorly when the palm is off, but when the palm is on they are unnoticeable. Believe me. As the owner of at least 8 different Palm models, this is an excellent investment in your $300+ Palm. Get em!
Rating: Summary: Great! Easy to use and keeps my Zire 71 looking new. Review: The protectors are easy to use- just follow the lines and cut to fit your Palm. It can be a little bit tricky getting all of the bubbles out.
Rating: Summary: ONLY Screen Protector to fit the NEW Palm Tungsten T3! Review: This is the ONLY screen protector that fits the new Palm Tungsten T3. All of the others are slightly too short. So, it's simple: If you want a screen protector to protect your T3, this is it.
