Rating: Summary: Works flawlessly everyday for a two weeks already Review: I haven't experienced any of the problems others have written. I find it easy to position my Palm on the cradle. I have the original unit hooked up to my computer at home and bought this USB cradle for use at work and it's been working like a charm for 2 weeks. I hot-sync my Palm M515 throughout the day and carry it with me from meeting to meeting -- this cradle hasn't failed me yet.
Rating: Summary: Does not charge to 100% Review: I'm not sure if the cradle I got was bad, but it does not charge my M505 to 100%. The USB cradle that came with the palm charges the M505 just fine. I plan on sending it back for an exchange.... We'll see what happens then.
Rating: Summary: Bad fit for Palm m130 Review: It's a shame Palm did not make a special cradle for the Palm m125 and m130, since the Palm is not very stable in this cradle. Perhaps they will release a special cradle in the near future. In the mean time, you might want to invest in a cable.
Rating: Summary: Not a great design Review: The clip where it meets the Palm until itself isn't well designed and mine no longer makes a good connection unless I press down on the Palm. I never had any problems like this with my older Palm cradle. Actually I find the USB cable (rather than cradle) works much better.
Rating: Summary: Fussy- poor design Review: The cradle is very finicky. The fit is not very tight and I have to press down on the top of the palm pilot to ensure the contacts are touching. Plus, it has it's own power plug AND the USB connection. I'd recommend the USB cable instead. It connects snugly, easily and is only one thing to plug in, plus very reliable long term. Charges fast too. This cradle just fell short all the way around.
Rating: Summary: cradle not compatible with tungsten !!!! Review: The fact the cradle was listed as compatible, but was not was a great disapointment for me. I shop at amazon often and have had good results till now. Maybe it would be better to go a retail store to purchase these types items.

Rating: Summary: works with linux Review: the title of the review just about sums it up. the serial cradle works with linux. even though i manage to get my logitech usb mouse working under linux, no such luck with the usb cradle that came with my m500. maybe someday - but until then, i'm quite pleased with the serial cradle.
Rating: Summary: ESD Problem Review: there's a known problem with the USB cradles that they are extra sensitive to Electro Static Discharge. I fries both the cradle and sometimes the handheld (cooked my M515 yesterday for the second time). Look up Palm USB ESD on Google... Palm is going to replace my handheld again. The serial version of this cradle does not have this issue. If you ask Palm about getting a serial cradle back instead of USB they state you have to buy one.
