Summary: What a piece of junk
Review: I'm an avid Palm fan and I bought this for my new m515. I had the Palm-brand charger for my Palm V and I thought this one would be just as good. Boy, was I wrong.

This thing is a piece of junk. The connector on this thing is so loose that if I just set my Palm on the table, the connector comes loose. Clearly, this is bad if I need it to be charging all night and wake up the next morning to see it came out and the battery is dead.

Even worse, I bought this thing so I could keep my Palm charging while I was using it for note-taking at work, but since the charger falls out of the Palm, then that doesn't work... avoid this Palm Charger piece of junk!

Summary: Complete Travel Charger
Review: If you are going to be out on the road, or flying to the other side of the world long enough to run down the battery's on your 500 series Palms, then you might as well round out your Road Warrior Bag with this item.

All the extra plug-ins for the Euro circuit are included, and are literally a "snap" to put on. The Travel Charger is light, small, and comes with a nice bag to hold it all. It won't take up much room in the luggage.

The only con I have is the price. Palm is a little too high here on something it didn't cost that much to produce.

But, I've got mine!

Summary: Lousy
Review: It quit charging after several weeks usage. Amazon will allow returns only for 30 days. Don't waste your money.

Summary: Works Fine with My Tungsten T
Review: The charger pictured is NOT the one you will get. It is the actually the one with 4 different plug inserts for international use. It is not the one with the folding prongs, as shown. But, apparently, if you have a Tungsten T, that makes a big difference. I think the other reviews seem to say that the pictured charger does not stay attached to the Tungsten T. Well, my experience with this Palm Universal Connector is that it stays attached just fine. It even has quite a bit of angular flex in it and still maintains the connection. And, although I don't do any travel abroad, the little black nylon Palm branded bag is really neat for carrying my miscellaneous Palm bits and pieces. All in all, it's exactly what my Tungsten T needed and it is reasonably priced, too.

Summary: Poor Connection - Does Palm Care?
Review: The connection to the Palm Tungsten T is so loose as others mention that the charge light goes on and off by itself. Its hard to believe that a reputable company can say that this works for this model. I wish i had read these comments before i purchased it. The bulky original cradle is such a piece of [junk] that im thinking of switching to a Microsoft PDA due to the better designs from the companies making them - don't laugh, i switched from Nikon to Canon Digital Camera's due to Canon's much better charger which needs no wires. The travel charger doesnt seem to be a solution - Palm, get your act together before you lose ALL your customers!

Summary: Palm Travel Charger
Review: This along with the folding key boards are the most vital accessories that you can get for the Palm m515. The interal battery has a dismal life and if you use your Palm for any real use (read books, write emails, docs and play games) then you will need to be recharging quite regularly. This is a good charger with several plug adaptors and is really very very useful. Also comes with a cool nylon bag to keep all the parts in.

Summary: Internationally loose connection
Review: This device works. But not too well. The connector seems to easily wiggle out of place, losing contact with the Palm. So you need to make sure the little PalmOS light is ON after you connected the plug and set the Palm on the table.

After that, the Palm charges fast and this 'kit' comes with a bag and all the plugs to work in Asia or Europe.

Summary: YES it works fine in Russia
Review: This palm Tungsten charger works fine in Russia. I use it and the 220v euro plug adapter (the two round pin one). Ive never had a problem charging my Tungsten C with it! Save room in your luggage and just bring the plug adapter you need.
