Rating: Summary: Works with Palm Tungsten T Review: I bought a Palm Tungsten T from Amazon. But shortly after it arrived, I plugged the 120v power adapter to a 220v outlet (I live in Manila, Philippines). Being a product used around the world, its unbecoming for Palm not to provide a universal voltage charger for the Tungsten T. It maybe just the intention of Palm to sell us the Palm Travel Charger. The specifications of the ruined Palm Tungsten-T charger shows 5v, 1 Ampere, Regulated Power Supply, Positive at Center Polarity. These specs are exactly the same as those found in the Palm Travel Charger so I bought it. The Palm Travel Charger charges the Tungsten-T directly without need of a cradle. The Palm Travel Charger is light, handy and comes with 3 plug adapters that should make it usable in almost all power outlets in the world. The charger's connector to the Tungsten-T appears frail and flimsy but works quite well. I would highly recommend this to travellers who wants a lighter weight charger and who wants to charge his Tungsten (and m130, i705 & m500 series) without need to attach the Tungsten to the cradle.
Rating: Summary: Tungsten E Review: I bought the Palm adaptor for my Garmin IQue because of the horror stories of the Garmin adaptor breaking the pin off from the unit. The Garmin can be charge either through a standard round power plug adaptor or through the port connector, which is the same as the port connector as the Palm. When I hooked it up, I experienced the same "hook up" problem everyone else did where it would come loose if you breathed on it. After looking at it closely, what I found was that the two "V" shaped silver metal tabs on either end of the connector was opened up too wide to allow it to fall into the groove on the unit. What I did was to slightly close up the "V"s such that they would fall snuggly into the grooves well enough to hold it on. I can now pick up and use it while connected without it breaking contact. Be careful not to close the "V"s too much, for this would cause the connectors to fall so far into the groove that it will be difficult to disconnect it. To disconnect it on my IQue, I tilt the connector toward the front of the IQue and pull the plug down, much the same way I remove it from the dock. A very necessary unit that needs some of your attention to make work properly.

Rating: Summary: Works fine-I have no problems like most of the others do... Review: I bought this charger to charge my Palm m130 while at work or at school. The plug stays in just fine and does not fall out of my PDA. Before my first use of this charger, but after reading some of the other reviews, I shook my device while it was charging using this charger, and to my relief everything stayed put. I even checked the "main" screen on my Palm to verify if it was still charging, and lo and behold, the little lightning bolt charge indicator that shows up in the battery icon was still there. It even comes with a little travel sack that takes up hardly any room in a bag or backpack, and keeps everything together. This product hasn't failed on me yet, and gets tossed from bag to bag quite often. Sure beats lugging that cradle around when you know your Palm is gonna need some juice!
Rating: Summary: Good, but misjudged usage criteria. Review: I bought this to use as a continual charger because I use my Palm for long periods of time. It worked for awhile, then the wire seemed to get bent and I have to tape it on and bend the wire and tape somemore. A big bummer when I need to HotSync and then want to use it away from the cradle. My misjudgement, but I expected it to be tougher. Otherwise I really like the convenience and am buying another ... will use it more wisely this time!!
Rating: Summary: Travel Charger works great with m515 Review: I bought this travel charger for two reasons. One we were heading to Scandanavia (Sweden, Denmark, Netherlands) and Belgium. This device worked flawlessly everywhere we went. I was able to use my palm while on vacation (reading Ebooks or playing games during down time). I didn't have to worry about losing my charge. The second reason was to have an additional method to charge my palm at home. I keep my USB cradle at work. Rather than buy a second USB cradle for home, I got the travel charger and a serial sync cable (they were sold out of USB sync cables as the time). I don't have any complaints about this charger. The carry bag is nice. The charger works well, and takes up very little space (will fit inside a shoe to save travel space). I don't have a problem with the connector. Once you get the hang of it.. its fine.
Rating: Summary: Works great - no problems - invaluable for traveling Review: I didn't experience any of the problems stated in some of the other reviews - notably the tendency of the charger to detach from the Palm. Maybe it's because I have a newer PDA (m515) and Palm changed something about where it attaches? In any case, I have used this regularly with my 515 (I travel a lot and use my Palm every day), and I have had no problems whatsover. The prongs fold flat, so it's very compact for travel. For me, it's been indispensible.
Rating: Summary: Convenience at an amazing price Review: I have a Tungsten T3 and have had none of the problems others report here. The charger works like a charm. Just attach it to the Palm's connector and lay both on a flat surface (maybe these folks with problems are trying to stand it up on end?), and you're good to go. The charger is much smaller than a cradle and thus perfect to take on the road. Bottom line: If you aren't smart enough to use the charger properly, you probably shouldn't be messing with a Palm--try an Etch-a-Sketch instead!
Rating: Summary: Terrible quality ! Review: I LOVE my Tungsten but I hate this charger. The connections are really flimsy. I have to wiggle it just right for the charger to actually charge. Also, the charge indicator becomes very inaccurate when using this device. It says fully charged in the morning and by the afternoon, the battery is less than 1/2 charged. I have to contact Palm about the warranty.
Rating: Summary: A GREAT GADGET TO HAVE Review: I was leery about buying this plug after reading all of the negative reviews, but I took my Palm M515 to a boring four day conference and ran out of juice early on after playing the games and entering pertinent information (you know the M515 does use alot of battery juice with the light on). I decided to take a chance and like another reviewer did, I plugged the adapter up to my Palm and shook it and wiggled it. It stayed connected just fine. I have not had any problems with the connection being broken and it charges about as fast as when it is connected to the cradle. Yes, I will admit this adapter is slightly overpriced but my M515 now contains my life and work and I think it is worth it to keep it juiced up without having to lug a computer and cradle with me. I would highly recommend this to anyone who travels with their palm and knows they will be draining the battery. It would be a shame to have an expensive piece of Palm equipment going to waste because the battery ran out or even worse... It would be a shame to be stuck in a boring situation and not be able to play with your Palm because the battery ran out.
