Summary: Cool - But not quite good enough for the money
Review: For the 5" by 7" model(which is actually the frame around a 3.25" x 4.5" LCD) the resolution is 320x240.

For the amount of money this costs, I think the LCD is small and the resolution is not good enough.

And the LCD has a limited viewing angle. To see the picture the best you must be square in front of the frame.

It's a neat device and has easy to use software, but I think I'll return it and wait for the next generation of frames.

Summary: DO NOT BUY PACIFIC DIGITAL PRODUCTS!!!
Review: I BOUGHT A PACIFIC DIGITAL EXTERNAL CD BURNER FROM AN INTERNET SELLER. IT CAME BRAND NEW IN A SEALED BOX WITH ALL THE WARRANTY CARDS AND EVERYTHING. I AM HAVING TROUBLE INSTALLING IT SO I CALLED PACIFIC DIGITAL SEVERAL TIMES FOR HELP ONLY TO GET VOICEMAIL. MY EMAILS WERE NEVER ANSWERED EITHER. WHEN I FINALLY GOT THROUGH SOME INDIAN SOUNDING GUY TOLD ME I COULDN'T GET SUPPORT BECAUSE I BOUGHT IT FROM AN "UNAUTHORIZED SELLER"!!THAT IS UNCONSCIONABLE!!! THIS COMPANY WILL BE OUT OF BUSINESS SOON BECAUSE THEY DO NOT STAND BY WHAT THEY SELL.

Summary: Not to shabby
Review: I bought this product for my mom and after a little exploring and playing around I finally got it to do what I wanted. The picture quality was ok but I expected a little better. The transitions from computer to the piture frame are very fast and exporting pictures from other files was accomplished after some trial and errors were done. Overall I think it's a little overpriced for what you get but my mom loves it so that's all that matters. I would definately recomend this to someone who has a digital camera.

Summary: Best Digital Frame on the Market
Review: I first bought Pacific Digital's 5x7 frame last fall and this year I graduated to the best digital frame on the market. This 8x10 frame rocks! The 10.4" screen makes my photos stand-out in vibrant hi-resolution color, and it is just as easy to use.

Before I bought, I looked at the other frames on the market and none have screen quality as good as the MF-810S. The others look pale and grainy in comparison.

And I can play music or voice with each photo with the built in stereo speakers!

Summary: Low Price, Low Performance
Review: I guess you get what you pay for. The display is it's weakest point. Very narrow viewing angle. And 320 x 240 resolution for a 5.6" diagonal screen is pretty [poor.]. Also, I could not load pix into the Memory Frame directly from my camera even though it was specified as compatible. I passed on the rebate and returned the frame to Amazon.

Summary: Picture Perfect
Review: I have had a digital frame for a year now, and I have had nothing but rave reviews about it from my Customers, if you are tight with money, then this is not the product for you, but if you have limited space and want to show off your family and friends then this is for you, yes it does seem like a slide show but that is the point of this product, it is a digital picture frame that allows you to view several pictures without the clutter of 50 frames.

Product is awesome, I wish I invented it.

Summary: Horrible Viewing Angle, Too Dark
Review: I strongly discourage anyone from buying this photo frame.
The screen is too dark, and raising the brightness makes the whole screen whiter, washing out the picture. You will also not be able to see the image unless your are standing to the right of the frame and looking down. The viewing angle is sooo small that you will almost never be able to see the picture as you are walking past it. You have to stop and make sure the viewing angle is right to be able to see the picture as it would look on a computer screen.
In addition, the screen started flickering horribly after about 5 months, needing warranty repair. It would stop flickering if the photo frame was left turned off for a few hours, but would come back after a few hours of being turned on.
New photo frames are comming that are cheaper, have better viewing angles and higher resolution. I strongly suggest you wait for those.

Summary: waaaaaay overpriced slideshow
Review: I totally agree with the reviewer from Boston -- that this is really only an expensive slideshow. And I completely agree with his comment that a much better use of money would be to just frame your prints in nice frames.

I received this digital frame as a gift from my husband. He set it up, so I can't comment on the ease or difficulty of it. When I saw it, I was not impressed. It really did look cheesy. I figured he spent maybe $30 on it -- more than I felt it was worth, but he seemed pleased with the purchase. When I found out he spent nearly THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS on it, I thought I had married a complete lunatic! Nobody in their right mind would spend $300 for this cr*p!!!!!

We have since returned the frame to Amazon. I seriously question the mental state of anyone who thinks this product is worth the price.
