Summary: Poor design!
Review: I ordered this tripod only to have it arrive with two of the lower leg struts (plastic) broken so the legs couldn't be braced correctly. Sent it back and got a replacement - it also arrived with one broken strut. The plastic must be very weak so beware. Wouldn't recommend this for anyone backpacking etc.
