Summary: A great, useful tool!
Review: I needed a USB SmartMedia reader and found the Delkin was the cheapest at Amazon.com. Installation was dead simple, operation is even easier. The reader is fast and definitely does its job, while the compact size makes it amazingly convenient. I have it velcro'ed to the bottom of my monitor and when I go on the road I can pull it off and throw it in my laptop bag. My only complaint is that it seems to take a while to recognize a card swap. If I swap cards and then try to open drive E: (the drive letter assigned to the device on my computer) then Windows hangs trying to open it. So, I unplug the reader (very easy with the detachable USB cable) and plug it back in. That straightens it out but seems like it shouldn't be neccessary?? -David
