Summary: Works great, few quibbles
Review: As far as memory sticks go, there are very few manufacturer's but Lexar appears to be reputable by now. A decent warranty and a compatibility guarantee makes this a safe choice. And you can't beat the price on it as the SanDisk ... and the Sony ....

My two complaints are these:
1) The memory stick did NOT come with a protective cover of any sort to protect the memory stick when not being used. A big minus in my book.
2) The packaging was a menace to open.

That's it. My 4.1 megapixel Sony digicam can shoot only 65 pics at the highest resolution, so I'll be getting another stick, but will probably also get a case of some sort to protect them.

Summary: Great for Clie!
Review: Bought a Sony 64MB stick for 69.95 when I first purchased my Clie 760, soon needed more storage space so bought the Lexar 128MB for $10.00 less! Performance is same, holds hundreds of spreadsheets, several apps or around 50 mp3's. And there is absolutely no difference in performance!
You can't go wrong!

Summary: Works Perfectly
Review: Don't be afraid to try something "non-Sony". It works perfectly and 128 Mb is enough. Don't worry about having enough space as you can save over 100 pictures at full quality (3 mega pixels). This is "the" choice, as price is very convenient. No other dollars per megabyte this low.

Summary: The must-have upgrade for a digital camera/camcorder
Review: Film often and carry a big (memory) stick. This makes a sony digital camera/camcorder much nicer to use--you can snap away all day without running out of memory space.

Summary: Spotty Performance with San Disk Reader
Review: First one I purchased worked great... My sony P7 recognized it and my San Disk reader also read it. Immediately ordered another one.

2nd one was a bust. Reader would not recognize it. Sent to amazon.com for a replacement.

3rd one was spotty. Reader sometimes read it, sometimes not. Sent back for refund.

It should be mentioned that in all cases, my P7 (and my Clie for that matter) read the sticks. It was only the reader which had problems recognizing it-- which leads me to believe the readers are a bit picky when it comes to the sticks they accept. (I know the reader itself isn't broken because I have two of them, and both had the same problems reading.)

Also should be mentioned that my SONY brand memory sticks flawlessly every time-- by my cybershot, my clie, and my San disk reader.

So, if you are not using a reader, you should be fine. If you are using a reader (especially the SAn disk reader) I'd stick to Sony. The Lexars are cheaper, but what's the use if it doesn't work?

Summary: you can never have too many MB's....
Review: Good price and same performance.

Summary: Great Price and Value
Review: Great price, great value, works perfectly in my Sony camera.

Summary: Cheaper than Sony, and just as good!
Review: Had mine for a couple months, and never had a problem with it at all. Skip the Sony memory sticks, go with Lexar. These babies are great, and at almost half the price.

I've written reviews of some of the Sony ones, the largest I had was a 32MB. Man o man, having a 128MB one is ROCKIN'! I wouldn't suggest to anyone to have less than 64 in their camera.

Summary: How many pictures will it store?
Review: How many pictures will it store? It is the most commonly asked question from digital camera enthusiast but usually the question that is the most difficult to get a straight answer about. Well, considering I worked in the memory industry for over 7 years I can help clarify this perplexing question and do so unbiased as I have since changed industries.

The Lexar 128MB Memory Stick, like most 128MB cards, will store on average 142 pictures when used with a 2 megapixel camera, 106 images when used with a 3 megapixel camera, 64 pictures when used with a 4 megapixel camera, 51 images when used with a 5 megapixel camera, and 40 pictures when used with a 6 megapixel camera. These numbers are based off the assumption that you are going to shoot your images at the highest quality JPEG setting available for the camera and understand that they are estimates and may be off by as much as 10 percent due to numerous factors including the complexity of the scene being shot and the compression algorithm used by your specific camera.

I truly hope this review was helpful to you in determining whether this card is the right capacity for your specific needs.
