Summary: How many pictures will it store?
Review: How many pictures will it store? It is the most commonly asked question from digital camera enthusiast but usually the question that is the most difficult to get a straight answer about. Well, considering I worked in the memory industry for over 7 years I can help clarify this perplexing question and do so unbiased as I have since changed industries.

The Memorex 64MB CompactFlash Memory Card, like most 64MB cards, will store on average 71 pictures when used with a 2 megapixel camera, 53 images when used with a 3 megapixel camera, 32 pictures when used with a 4 megapixel camera, 25 images when used with a 5 megapixel camera, and 20 pictures when used with a 6 megapixel camera. These numbers are based off the assumption that you are going to shoot your images at the highest quality JPEG setting available for the camera and understand that they are estimates and may be off by as much as 10 percent due to numerous factors including the complexity of the scene being shot and the compression algorithm used by your specific camera.

I truly hope this review was helpful to you in determining whether this card is the right capacity for your specific needs.

Summary: Bad Memory .... Go with another brand
Review: I bought this card because of a low price for 64 megs. I have two digital cameras, and this card is only recognized by one. The images write to the card very slowly, and even deleting all images from the card takes a very long time. I have a Memorex USB CompactFlash drive for my computer and it works great with my Viking and Lexar CF cards, but does not recognize that its own brand of Memorex CF is even in the drive! I recomend Viking or Lexar, as both have yet to disapoint me like this Memorex card has.

Summary: Useless CF card
Review: I would rate this as zero stars if I could. I bought this CF card because of the low price and like my mother always told me, you get what you pay for. The card is corrupted, and will only store about 5 or 6 images before it throws an error. When it hits that error point, it will corrupt any pictures you've already taken and won't allow you to take any more pictures. Go with another brand and save yourself the headaches as well as the money.

Summary: Slowwwww
Review: Lately I have been using more and more memory cards and I am very pleased to see Memorex memory cards are available. I recently purchased a Memorex 64MB card and it is just as fast as the other brands, and I trust the name. It's tough to beat the price too.
