Summary: Good quality CompactFlash to keep
Review: I chose to return my previous 128MB CompactFlash after I had purchased this Viking one. Its quality and reliability is up to my expectation. I am satisfied to keep it for my digital camera. Another best part is good price!

Summary: Makes the Kodak DC290 Digital Camera Explode!
Review: Absolutely fantastic memory expansion for the Kodak DC290 digital camera! My DC290 came with 16-Megs an at the lowest resolution setting (about 140K size files) I could only take 71-pictures. I plugged the Viking 128-Meg flash card in a suddenly, I have over 610 picture files available --- definitely will need another set of batteries. Even at the highest, uncompressed setting, 30-picture files are available. With the USB connection, downloading takes very little time. To sum it up, great value for the price! Keep on clicking!

Summary: Excellent value.
Review: I bought this product for the elph s300 and could not be happier. The card works seemlesly and stores about 125 pictures at maximum 2.1 megapixel resolution. The cost can't be beat,... A nice addition if you have a laptop is a PCMCIA Viking adapter which allows you to plug the compact flash card directly into the computer and use it as a drive. This setup is much faster than any USB download or compactflash card reader and is ideal for digital images.

Summary: good card
Review: The compact flash cards are great and have a lifetime warranty on them. They are very tiny and slip in to your digital camera and PDAs. This latest one with 128 Mega Bytes is awesome and it works great with the Hewlett Packard C315 Camera. It stores over a 300 high quality images from your camera.

However I believe that a lot of Olympus Digital Camera's dont use the compact flash cards but instead use the SMART MEDIA card which is slightly bigger than the compact flash card. So make sure this card is for the right device.

This card fits inside the digital printers that print photographs. Great Card, good speed , I'd recommend it to anyone.......and hey good price on it too !!

Summary: Great Value for the money!!!
Review: Having purchased a digial camera in December of 2000, I quickly realized that I would need more storage capacity than the 8MB that were included with the purchase. I then turned to the Vikintg 128MB Compact Flash Card. I have used this card many times over...with it's capacity lasting me all but the longest of trips. I have also taken this to Europe with me...and it has brought back many great pictures. If you are traveling, and looking to take good photos of your trip...then this cannot be beaten.

But this is not even the best part yet...At the time I bought my card...I was extremely pleased with the good price of the card. That price was over $200. Since then, the price has dropped dramatically, making this a great upgrade for those with older small memory cards, and a camera with 2MP or less. For higher resolution cameras though, I would recommend more memory if you plan to be taking a lot of pictures.

Summary: You Never Have Too Much Memory
Review: I purchased this card for my HP Jornada 548. It was easy to install and made an immediate, detectable difference in the operating speed of my machine.

The next one I buy is for my Nixon Coolpix 990.

Review: I still can't believe a 128MB CF card cost me only.. This is a very high quality product looks and performance wise not to mention the ease of usage. If you have a Zip drive, this product acts just like a zip drive. Man, this baby rocks with my Canon A20 digicam.

Summary: Viking 128 MB Compact Flash Review
Review: The Viking 128 MB card represents an excellent value today as Compact Flash prices finally begin to come down a bit. I use the $1/per MB rule as a basis for what represents a good value at today's prices (June 2001). ..., the Viking card comes in well below that figure and I know of no card by Viking or any other manufacturer with a lower dollar per MB price.

Having said that, the only complaint is the Viking card does seem a bit slower to write to, than say a Lexar card, but unless you are in a big hurry or need to take rapid sequences of shots, this is not a big complaint. I suspect, it's as fast as most cards today aside from Lexar.

Now, if I was only allowed to buy more than one... Oh, well, I guess [they] want to keep people from harding them at this price.
