Rating: Summary: Works great for Canon S45 Review: Bought this just before my vacation trip so I can get more pictures in my Canon S45. Worked out great. Took over 200 pictures and even had room for the 3 minute video feature in the S45. Was worried about some capability issues per other reviews, but I had no problems. Recommend to all who need that extra space for their digital camera memory cards. Would recommend the 512MB for even more capacity!
Rating: Summary: It works Review: It works and it holds 256 MB what else can you say about it?
Rating: Summary: A lot of bang for the buck! Review: I can't get over how many shots I can get on these cards! On my Olympus C-5050, I get 208 HQ shots. For the price (including rebate), I can't see how you can lose!
Rating: Summary: Purchased for HP Jornada 568 Review: First - this is the best price I have seen for ANY CF memory and/or devices. This card is priced lower than other competing brands 128 MB cards.Second - it works perfectly for what I wanted. I have an HP Jornada 568 - and I wanted to start using it as an MP3 player. The only problem was that I didn't have enough storage for a whole lot of music. I plugged the card in, and moved almost 5 complete CD's worth of music to my PDA - now when I skate or run, I can enjoy my favorite music with no skipping and the price for the memory was even less than buying a cheap CD player! It's been a couple of days - and I haven't had a single problem, just put the card in, and it did what I wanted! Great product! Great Deal!
Rating: Summary: 5 stars condition Review: good, very good with in my digital camera.
Rating: Summary: Everything working ok... Review: I just received my Viking 256MB CompactFlash Card. I popped it into a USB card reader and copied a 240MB .avi file. I wanted to test to make sure the card was working alright. The .avi file transferred without a hitch. I then launched the .avi file directly from the CF card and scanned through the video to see if the file wasn't corrupted. Everything was fine. Then I popped the CF card into a Canon S200 and fired off 7 test shots. Everything is fine. Now I can give it to my dad. I've done the final QA inspection before handling it off to my dad for his Canon G2. I'm giving this card a 5-Star rating because everything is currently fine with it. No problems. For the average user whose not a speed freak, I think this card is perfectly adequate. ...Simply amazing! I am quite satisfied.
Rating: Summary: Amazing Storage Capacity!! Review: I bought this card for my Canon Powershor S230. I popped it in, formatted it, and my camera told me that in the finest mode I had 279 shots remaining. In the two medium modes I had 445 & 771 shots remaining (respectively). And in the lowest resolution mode, I had a total of 1,583 shots remaining. That's outrageous! What's more outrageous is getting a meg for less than 14 cents/per! How can you go wrong with a deal like that? I'll admit that I haven't used the card for more than a couple of dozen shots/movie clips, but reliability and file corruption have not been an issue...I have not had any problems whatsoever with it. Thanks to Viking and Amazon for another tremendous deal!! UPDATE: Have been using the card heavily for nearly 8 months now, and have not had a single problem. The card has been flawless with pictures and video. I make sure to reformat the card after every download, and have had no problems or suprises. I guess I am one of the lucky ones. Also, I filled out the rebate exactly as instructed, sent it in, and had the check in my hands in about 7 weeks. I feel sorry for everyone that is having problems....I'd be angry, too. Fortunately, I've had no problems, so I'm a happy camper!!
