Summary: Perfect for Canon Powershot S30
Review: Worked right away, no problems whatsoever. The amount of memory on this card is awesome. I can take over 2,500 photos on low-resolution settings or over 250 on the highest resolution. Amazing! Comparable cards from other brands costs over 2 times as much.

Summary: Fast and very reliable!
Review: I have a few other cards and a few I had to return because they were horrible. Some cards would corrupt images and some would just freak out. These viking cards work well and not only that.. they work fast! they are a good buy. Now to wait for my rebate to make this deal even sweeter!

Summary: I Love My CompactFlash Cards
Review: I have two digital cameras and a PDA, all of which use CompactFlash cards for their memory storage. Somehow, I can never get enough CompactFlash memory cards.

The quality, speed and price on these Viking CompactFlash cards are excellent and they have proven themselves in use in all of my devices. Not long ago, 256 MB of CompactFlash was extraordinary, now it is almost the minimum you want to use in a digital camera, particularly the mega-pixel cameras.

These CompactFlash cards work, work well, and are cost effective.

Summary: So small, yet sooo many uses!
Review: I love this card! A couple of these babies on a one week trip & you have plenty of photo storage. Other uses for it include using it in my MP3 player & in a pinch, transfering files from one PC to another via a card reader. The Viking is very fast for picture taking.

Summary: Fast and Functional
Review: The Viking card I purchased, is awesome. My photos get onto my computer very fast and the camera seems to work better with this card - (faster times between taking photos). It holds 164 full high resolution photos. If I put my camera on lower settings, it would hold over 300, but I like the fact that I can take 164 huge resolution photos before switching to the next card. Buy three. That's all you'll need for a 2 day trip (if you're trigger happy like me.)
I have purchased Sandisk and Simple Tech compact flash cards and have been disappointed. The Sandisk ones are so slow and take a long time for the card reader to read. The Simple Tech cards I have purchased all fail after time. Half the photo you took is full of electronic letters/colors/lines meaning the cards get corrupt after awhile.

Summary: This 256 MB Card works fine with Nikon Coolpix 950
Review: I just loaded the 256M memory card and it works fine with my 3-year-old Coolpix 950 and SanDisk ImageMate USB Reader Model SDDR-05.

This card might not support older cameras, check their rated capacity before buying. For example, the 950 will not support cards with over 256M capacity. Not a problem for me, this works out to over 250 pics at the "Fine" resolution!

Summary: My CoolPix 4500 will not recognize this card
Review: I've seen several people complain that their cameras won't recognize this card. I even tried to format the card via a CF reader - no go. Copying everything from a working card couldn't fool the camera either.

From what I understand this card *can* work in the CoolPix line, but as I said several folks (including me) report getting an un-usable card

Summary: Viking 256 meg CF card
Review: Just bought it in July after purchasing the Canon S40. Since it's a 4mp camera, this 256meg card give me about 125 shots in the highest setting. I love this card, it's fast and the price is pretty good. I read the CF cards speed comparison article on dpreview.com and didn't believe that this 8x card can out perform some 16x cards. But it's true I tested it with the Sandisk Ultra 384, and the Viking card was noticibly faster.

Summary: Will not format
Review: I bought this card for my Minolta S404. The camera will not format this card. It says the card is not usable. Cannot format through my computer either. I am returning the card.
