Rating: Summary: Not working in Olympus D450Z as "guaranteed" Review: I bought this 128mb card for my Olympus D450Z, and formatted it in the computer following the instructions. It took 15 pictures at medium setting and then stopped working and flashed "86" on the display. I assume that is some sort of error code. It had nothing to do with how many pictures should have been left (575), nor did it reflect how many it had taken (15). The camera basically froze up while flashing "86". If I tried to click it close to turn it off, no reaction. I had to partially click it close, pull it back open, then it would show normal display again and allow me to shut it off at that point.Hold it, you think. If it showed normal display again, just take a picture. I tried, several times. It would freeze back up with "86". I even took the card out, erased it on the card driver put it back in, formatted it again, and took 15 pictures before "86" started flashing again. I have written Olympus to find out what "86" means, it is not described in the manual. Beware, I made have just bought too large of a memory card for the camera, even though Viking claims otherwise. Might be why they are almost half the price of Olympus cards.
Rating: Summary: Good Stuff but no mail rebate Review: This product works great with our Olympus camera. Get you interested, buy my product with a special inducement.
Rating: Summary: Terrific!! Review: I am a new digital camera owner and was very leary of ordering this for my Olympus 550 Zoom camera. It was so much cheaper than the Olympus card and it works terrific. I'm going to order another since I do International trips and take lots of pictures.
Rating: Summary: Card is fine. Rebate program is the worst!!!!!!!!!!!!! Review: Watch out for Viking's rebate programs! Bought one of these cards last year and it took over 8 months and 10 phone calls to finally get my rebate. First, they claimed that my submission had been lost, then it was mysteriously received, then it took 4 months to cut the check, and finally about 4 weeks just to have the check mailed. I pursued it this long just on the principle of the thing. Card works just like all of the other brands I have which is to say just fine.
Rating: Summary: Good Product Review: Well, what can you say about this memory card? It works and does what it's supposed to at a great price.
Rating: Summary: Couldn't ask for anything more. Review: I've been using the Viking 128MB Smartmedia Card for several months now in my Olympus 3000 digital camera, and its performance has been flawless. It's reliable and absolutely trouble-free. And the price has come down considerably since I purchased it. Need I say more?
Rating: Summary: Little card but a lot of storage!! Review: I purchased the Viking 128mb card for my Olympus c720 camera prior to going on vacation. The card worked great, we got over 250 high quality shots. When concidering the number of shots we got, and the fact that the card is reuseable, our photos were dirt cheap compaired to regular film (you have to factor in the cost of the film and processing). This, coupled with the ease of use and great looking pictures, made buying this card a very worthwhile purchase. I also liked not having to reload, store and process the film. I found the price on Amazon.com beat most of the competition. I'm very happy with my purchase and I'm sure you will be too!
Rating: Summary: 128mb card by viking Review: This card works fine however it is not compatable with Olympus D-550zoom in the Panorama mode but is was recomended for this camera
Rating: Summary: the best and the cheapest Review: This is a great card that is very handy with my MP3 player (Samsung 128MB YP-700H). It is easy to use, has a good amount of memory on it for the price, and comes with a nic little case to store it in. Also, this is significantly lower priced than Lexar's 128mb card, which is virtually the same thing (this is roughly half the price). Strongly recommended.
Rating: Summary: great card Review: preformatted...just put it in the camera and your capacity has increased tenfold...no brainer...highly recommended
