Summary: Stocking up at good prices
Review: With a Toshiba and an Olympus that require SmartMedia I feel the need to have a few backups of a card type that will soon not be in any new products.
Just want to insure I can use the cameras as long as I want to.

Review: It just arrived! Stuck it in my Olympus 720 and worked perfectly. Can't tell the difference from the higher priced manufacturers. Going to England on 10 days of garden tours, so I will try to do a follow-up review of it's performance in the field. Good Shooting!

Summary: EXCELLENT PERFORMANCE
Review: I've owned this card for about 3 months now, using it in the Nomad IIc MP3 player as extended memory. I've written and re-written to it more times than I can count, and it gives excellent, accurate playback performance every time. I'm bouncing the card by one star on the fact that I have yet to receive my $15 rebate check from Viking. Other than that, no problems with the quality of this product.

Summary: 128 Smart Media Card
Review: The Viking 128 mb smart media card permits me to take approximately 175 pictures of very high quality before having to download them from my digital camera to the computer. After some months experience, I can report the card works perfectly. Its only weakness - but not significant to me as I also have a smaller capacity Olympus card - is that it will not allow "panorama" pictures with my Olympus. To do that - namely, stitching separate pictures - takes a proprietary card. However, for all other purposes, this Viking card is a very fine product.

Summary: Go with the good stuff
Review: You can find cheaper cards out there. But this is a quality piece of merchandise that you can count on to store those important picture on. Formats easily, provides high quality pictures.

Summary: Take more shots
Review: with this higher capacity card. Using my digital camera is a pure joy now that I don't have to worry about running out of space. On my 2 megapixel Olympus I get enough shots for a short vacation with this 128MB card so I don't have to bring along extras.

At this price, an extra card won't set you back much either. How did we used to get along with just 36 shots per roll of film? And all those canisters and an Xray safe lead lined bag for that airport machine.

Besides using the card in my digital camera, I can use it in my Visor PDA and laptop. Its great for transfering files.

Summary: Versatile and Flexible Card
Review: Inserted the Viking 128MB SmartMedia card into my Olympus C-730 and it immediately worked without formatting. Formatted it in camera anyway and it still worked. Took pictures and uploaded it to my PC from camera directly just fine. Downloaded pictures (that I had previously uploaded from my 16MB xD card that came with the camera) from the PC to my camera. Viewed it fine with no errors. Even record sound on it. Took the Viking 128MB to Costco and inserted it into their digital picture reprint system. Made reprint choices & picked up reprints in an hour. 8x12's and 4x6's looked great. Could not see notable differences between 2Mpixel and 3Mpixel setting in the quality of the enlargements (from a vacation, casual photographer point of view that is). Card came in a nice plastic case to boot! My HP printer has a SmartMedia slot, but I haven't tried it yet to do uploads/downloads and proof sheets. That will be my next test.

Summary: Viking 126 MB Smart Media Card
Review: I have been using this card for 6 months now after initial purchase of my new Olympus 2.5 mega pixel camera. It has worked flawlessly! No problems at all.

Summary: Great card
Review: With this I can take almost 500 pics, 380 secs of video, and fool proof usage. At this price it is a great product to get. Highly recomended.

Summary: Excellent card!
Review: I bought this 128mb card back in November of 2002 and have used it ever since.

It's in an Olympus D520 2mp camera (which I also use as a 128mb USB portable disk drive between work & home). My employer won't buy a cd-rw drive, so I had to innovate.

The card is excellent. Easy to use and capacity so big I never need to change cards.
