Rating: Summary: Awesme product for great price Review: Why pay twice as much for a "Sony"? This is just as good at about half the cost.
Rating: Summary: Great price...great device! Review: I lover the extra space this 128MB stick gives me. I take a lot of pictures and have used my Sony DCR PC-110 all over the world. I have never had trouble with a Memory stick yet... and I say this after having taken it to rainforests, deserts, caves, helicopters, jungles, and major cities everywhere. This is my media of choice.
Rating: Summary: Works on Clie Review: Works just as well as the Sony Memory stick does on the new Clie
Rating: Summary: Great product, low price! Review: This memory stick works exactly like the Sony brand, but costs much less. I use one in my Sony DSC-F707, interchanging it with a Sony brand stick, and there is no difference at all. The camera recognized it instantly. Both sticks work equally well.
Rating: Summary: As good as Sony Review: I purchased this item to suppliment other memory cards for my Sony DSC camera. It operates exactly the same as the Sony, and for substantially less cost. Recommend this product highly to anyone seeking additional storage for their Sony products.
Rating: Summary: Performance as expected Review: It is a memory stick, there is not much to say about it. It did not fail or destroy any of my data, which is about all you can say about such products. I'm still a little hesitant about this price point for the product, in comparison to other formats 128 MB is starting to become a very small amount. One note: it is not translucent purple as it appears in the image, it is the dull purple-blue of all of the other Sony memory sticks.
Rating: Summary: How many pictures will it store? Review: How many pictures will it store? It is the most commonly asked question from digital camera enthusiast but usually the question that is the most difficult to get a straight answer about. Well, considering I worked in the memory industry for over 7 years I can help clarify this perplexing question and do so unbiased as I have since changed industries.
The Lexar Media 128MB Memory Stick, like most 128MB cards, will store on average 142 pictures when used with a 2 megapixel camera, 106 images when used with a 3 megapixel camera, 64 pictures when used with a 4 megapixel camera, 51 images when used with a 5 megapixel camera, and 40 pictures when used with a 6 megapixel camera. These numbers are based off the assumption that you are going to shoot your images at the highest quality JPEG setting available for the camera and understand that they are estimates and may be off by as much as 10 percent due to numerous factors including the complexity of the scene being shot and the compression algorithm used by your specific camera.
I truly hope this review was helpful to you in determining whether this card is the right capacity for your specific needs.
Rating: Summary: Good buy! Review: The Stick that came with my Sony HandyCam (8MB) was not sufficient and wanted to get a bigger one - I read good reviews about this in Amazon, elsewhere and from friends - though one review said there could be compatibility issues with Sony, I did not fine any - works like a charm.
Price - Comparable
Quality - Excellent
Performance - Amazing
Took various pictures - both in day and night - satisfactory performance.
Rating: Summary: Reliable product so far Review: I give 4 stars because of the performance issue mentioned by other reviewers is true. I never tried 128Mb Sony brands but if Sony got the same problem I give it 5 stars due to the price different.
I'm using Sony 8, 32 & 64Mb memory stick & all give me instant access (I really not feel any delay even in 64Mb, but I pretty sure there is if measure by instrument)
The main concern of any memory cards is reliability - this one didn't need any reformat after 4 months use. Some of my Sony brand memory sticks did give me "device not read" error & need to reformat before I can use it.
Price is good coz I got it for 32+. Also, 256Mb is still too expensive to have one now compare with other memory formats.
Rating: Summary: Incredibly durable! Review: The Lexar 128 mb memory stick matches up in most cases to the Sony memory stick that originally came with my camera, but clearly fails in low light or very bright situations. I've reverted to buying a larger Sony memory stick....
