Summary: Good memory stick
Review: Good memory stick, handy and small, of course. There is a switch on it to switch from side a to side b. The switch is really tiny, so if you have big fingers, you might have a little trouble. It seems a little flimsy and is really tiny to use, and also to read the lettering. I wouldn't recommend it to someone that forgot their reading glasses. It is a timesaver, and a spacesaver, and there aren't really many other options for those of us who can't use the newer memory sticks.
All in all, a good product.

Summary: Good value
Review: If all you want it for is to hold pictures, this seems like far and away the best value right now for a memory stick for your Sony camera. (Jan 1 2004) $78.99 for a 2 X 128MB combo (maybe less in function). The Sony Cybershot series has no need for the "Memory Gate", so why mess with it now.

Summary: its nice i suppose
Review: if this card were to magically appear in my pocket i would be exstatic. provided of cours that i had a sony device. its small, it works, its durable, and there is a good amount of space on it.

however, in the land of thing not magically appearing in my pocket, there are a lot of cons to this memory stick. for one, its exspencive. another reason is that its only good for sony products. yet another is that you have to use this little switch on the thing if you want to use it to maximum capacity. on the other hand this might... might, provide a usefull organizing tool for some.

in any case, if your looking for a memory card for a sony product that you've already bought, then this is a good buy. but if your looking into buying a sony product let this card be a deterent (not a big one mind you, but if your down to two competing products, then i would say go with the other one).

Summary: Score one for Sony
Review: Its great having one stick hold 256, yet offer two sides, each containing 128. It can't hold 256 total, but it is able to hold more then the memory stick pros, due to the lack of MagicGate. I would highly recommend this stick. I use it on sonys new PEG-UX50, and it works like a charm. Mp3s read easy and load fast, faster then I imagined. If you need a stick for music this is it! Only bad thing is, if you try to download anything larger then the side can hold, it will not transfer to the other side.

Summary: Reliable, fast, best memory stick
Review: One of the few Sony brand memory sticks without Magic Gate technology. Magic Gate wastes approximately 20 megs on the card and all it does is keep you from reading some MP3's, even ones you ripped yourself. I use this memory stick in my Sony Clie PDA and Sony DSC P10 digital camera. I have noticed in my digital camera that the SanDisk memory stick I have is slower than this Sony stick. The screen blacks out for maybe 3 seconds while it writes to the Sandisk, this is annoying, so I think the Sony is much better for this reason alone.
