Rating: Summary: How many pictures will it store? Review: How many pictures will it store? It is the most commonly asked question from digital camera enthusiast but usually the question that is the most difficult to get a straight answer about. Well, considering I worked in the memory industry for over 7 years I can help clarify this perplexing question and do so unbiased as I have since changed industries.
The Panasonic 256MB High Speed SD Memory Card, like most 256MB cards, will store on average 284 pictures when used with a 2 megapixel camera, 213 images when used with a 3 megapixel camera, 128 pictures when used with a 4 megapixel camera, 102 images when used with a 5 megapixel camera, and 80 pictures when used with a 6 megapixel camera. These numbers are based off the assumption that you are going to shoot your images at the highest quality JPEG setting available for the camera and understand that they are estimates and may be off by as much as 10 percent due to numerous factors including the complexity of the scene being shot and the compression algorithm used by your specific camera.
I truly hope this review was helpful to you in determining whether this card is the right capacity for your specific needs.
Rating: Summary: Only 'pros' know the quality of a premium SD... Review: If you are not familiar with the SD cards, you should know that the panasonic was the company that first started this flash memory industry. They are the best and most reliable SD cards you can ever find. They have a bit expensivier price compared to other major producing companies (Sandisk, Toshiba, etc) but its well worth it. I have Tungsten T3 PDA and when I ran a memory speed test on all the SD cards I had owned (Kingston, Panasonic, Sandisk, etc) Panasonic was a LOT faster than any one of them + more stable. If you want really good SD card you can use over and over, buy Panasonic. If you have a lot of time on your hand with small budget, I recommend Lexar or Kingston SD cards (I have good experiences with them both). The quality of panasonic SD cards is unquestionable. Its only the price that changes few peoples mind..........
Rating: Summary: Sweet Menory Card Review: This card was more responsive in my digital camera. I can shoot 3 or 4 frames without any writing delay, unlike my other card. Very nice.
Rating: Summary: Best SD Card Review: This little card writes at blazing speeds. I transfered 240MB of Music from my computer in a little over a minute via my card reader/writer. I use this card in my HPIpaq 4155. It works great. This card is honestly the RollsRoyce of SD cards. There is no better SD card than Panasonic. Kingston is good and reliable. But Kingston SD cards write at much slower speeds than Panasonic. Panasonic is the Roadrunner of SD cards.
