Review: I bought a Bogen Magic Arm in 1982 with a camera mount on one end and a clamp on the other end. It has outlasted seven cameras and half a dozen tripods. It gets used for every recital, concert, play, or sporting event that I go to for my kids. I just clamp it onto the chair or bench or door or fence or railing and I have a steady platform for pictures that doesn't get in the way of anyone.

Almost 22 years of steady use with no sign of wear. Very handy and very durable.
