Rating: Summary: not a good portrait lens Review: Because of the min distance, the telephoto lens can shoot head-to-hip portraint at most instead of head-to-shoulder offered by most portrait lens. And you can imagine the problem of adding close-up filter by the very nature of range finder camera. I nornally use it taking photos for two people+.
I like to use it with the 35mm panaroma kit. Head-to-hip and panaroma are a very good couple.
Undoubtedly the image taken by this lens is sharp. But it's not so good a portrait lens. Consider you need seriously before buying it.
