Description:
When Tamron made the Tamron AF28-200 f3.8-f5.6 Super II macro lens, it had the shortest minimum focusing distance in its class. At just over 3 inches, and weighing only 1.6 ounces, it gives you high quality images in a very compact body. This is due in part to the two hybrid aspherical elements and a large LD (low-dispersion) element built into the lens optics. Also contributing to the high image quality is the integrated focus cam, which optimizes the internal focusing mechanism. This system works to reduce the minimum focusing distance while boosting overall optical performance. This model is dedicated to Minolta SLR cameras.
