Summary: ...this macro lens delivers
Review: I was a bit apprehensive about using a screw-on attachment, and was concerned that edge sharpness, light falloff, or general inconvenience would be problems. The lens performs very well in all of these areas of concern. This is a fine optical addition to the E-10's fixed zoom, one that Olympus has put considerable thought into. It operates throughout the wide-tele range. It does require setting the macro mode in the control panel, but this only takes a few seconds, and then you can move in on subjects, such as a bee on a flower, dew on a spider's web, or the details on a coin. It would be nice if this sort of accessory was a little less expensive, but it is well worth the price, as it comes in a well made case, with a cover that serves as a lens cap when the lens is mounted on the camera.
