Summary: Superb Bose 321 System
Review: Perfect for rooms with regular 9' ceilings (not recommended for Cathedral ceilings). Very simple to install and use. Outstanding sound from two small stylish speakers. Plays CDs, DVDs, CRDs and CDRWs. Also has excellent AM/FM radio. Very tidy all round system that replaces the need for separate DVD and Hi-Fi systems.BOSE sound systems are simple the best bang for your buck available today.

Review: SELLER'S: For an honest review go to the CORRECT page for the Bose 321 Graphite w/ Accoustimass 3rd module and two satellite speakers. That will have the correct retail rate and draw the true end-buyers/purchasers. This price of $700 is for the 2 speaker satellite system so you would be losing a bit selling here. I hope this helped you in your endeavors and I look forward to honestly/fairly competing with you in the future!
BUYER'S: Buy as many of these as you can and report any loss or "mistakes" on the sellers' part in contractual agreements to Amazon customer service. Because if this ad by that company/seller is being honest and selling a 3 speaker system (2 satellite and 1 lrg Acoustimass) you are in for a steal! literally, so get a goin! Lol

Summary: Great Sound, Bad Reliability
Review: The 321 was the first Bose system I have ever bought. I had heard all the raves about the speaker technology and sound and was not disappointed at all. Unfortunately, the main unit which housed the dvd/cd kept locking up and would not allow me to eject the disc. Occassionally, it would not allow me to change functions at all. I returned my first one and the problem recurred on the second as well. Subsequently, I read a customer review which also relayed the same problem. Not sure if this is bad luck or a manufacturing defect. (...)

Summary: Not enough bang for the buck
Review: The BOSE-321 is a pretty good home theater systems. It
is not at all bulky, in fact it is very sleek and stylish.
Installation was a snap, and ease of use makes it so simple that
even a toddler could use it. The systems sounds very
good as well, but for [price] I expected a more. I don't
think this system delivers on the claim of surround sound
movie theater experience.

Summary: Bose 3-2-1 Delivers!
Review: This is Bose's home theater equivalent of the popular Wave CD players/radios. It purports to be simple to connect, take up very little room, and satisfy a customer's basic home theater needs. It delivers exactly what it promises. We've owned one for a week. Previously I ran our satellite signal through a Hi-Fi VHS to a 100-watt Marantz amp/receiver and out to two Boston Acoustic floor speakers. It sounded pretty darn good. Now I run the satellite signal to the VHS and to the Bose. The Bose has better sound definition, captures subtle sounds that were missed in my previous setup, delivers a visceral bass, and the picture signal seems to be slightly improved. My wife is happy that two large speakers are gone from the living room. I'm happy that one small component replaced a CD-player and amplifier plus the DVD player we were planning on buying before we saw the 3-2-1. Now the disclaimers: Is it true surround sound? No. To my ears at nearly 50 years of age it's close enough--the sound bounces off the back wall and Bose's acoustical wizardry fools the ears quite well. The remote won't run anything else, so now I have to fool around with more remotes (but Bose says a universal remote can be used). The power cord plugs into the subwoofer and the subwoofer is supposed to be at least 3 feet from the TV. Figure it out, it's not easy in a room with few outlets. And this system is it--there's no configuring it like with a component system. This system is better than the cheapie 5-speaker ones. Do yourself a favor and only consider this against high-end 5-speaker systems.

Summary: Great Idea... Doesn't Work
Review: This is my thought on the Bose 321 unit... My brother purchased the BOSE system, and I was surprised, since I know that Bose is somewhat expensive and I know that my brother doesn't like spending tons of money on certain electronic home audio equip. Shortly after he had installed the Bose 321 system at his home, I heard nothing but complaints from him. The unit makes a whining noise, you have to turn the volume up to 50 before you can hear anything, etc... When I went to his place to check the unit out, I tested it with a DVD, it began to act funny. When playing the movie, I decided I wanted to stop it for a second to test the remote functions. After pressing stop, the movie kept on playing and on the T.V. it gave an ERROR message on the screen. All of a sudden, the movie stopped, went back to the main menu... a few seconds later the movie started to play again all by itself. When trying to push the eject button on the remote to eject the DVD/CD tray, the unit would give
another error and not open. In order to open the dvd/cd tray, you would have to manually press the button. After experiencing all of these problems in a short time, my brother decided that the Bose 321 unit should be taken back to Best Buy. I told him that he should purchase some OTHER audio equip. from a Real Home audio store.

Summary: Underperforming and overpriced.
Review: This system is a real disappointment. The subwoofer puts out only moderate bass with movies and flat lifeless bass when playing pop and r&b music. This system sounds like it cost about one third of it's actual price tag. I like the idea behind the 3-2-1 but the result leaves alot to be desired. I want simplicity and quality sound which this system fails to provide.

Summary: Its not surround sound.
Review: This thing is worthless. With the price tag it carries and the name Bose behind it, It should work flawlessly. Nevertheless, that's not the case. It will suddenly freeze up (during both mid-play and start up) and an error message appears on the LCD screen every other time It's used. The remote is no prize either. Fast forwarding and rewinding button reaction times are sluggish at best. Plus, its not really surround sound. It might save you some room due to its compact size, but that's all it is, small.

Summary: Everything we expected!
Review: This unit does the job of more elaborate systems. Its not a total movie going experience but the sound is great and its looks complimented our homes interior. It has plenty of power and does give a surround sound that it satisfying for home movie effects. One drawback is that the subwoofer is not magnetically shielded to it has to be 3 feet from the TV. Our TV was in the corner of the room and this precluded us placing the sub directly behind the TV where we wouldn't see it. We had to put it alongside our system.

like simplicity and want the minimum features on your remote
like the minimum of pieces in your home theater with the topmost sound quality
do not want to be bothered with joining 20 wires at 40 places ....if you are like that ...just like me..then go for it.
I first bought a sony dreamsystem a day earlier came home, got first of all depressed on seeing the 7/8/9 pieces and scratched my head on how was i gonna arrange so many pieces in my not so big living room, then the wires to be attached and so on plus the system didnot play mp3s and cd-rs.
Not a Bose...just a 4 piece set and dare i say much better in sound quality than the sony or any other equivalent. The system offers surrond sound from 2 speakers (where others need 3 to 4) , a subwoofer, and the main sleek system. The features on the remote are minimum and that's another thing i liked. I don't need the massive programming stuff on the remote which i won't use ever. Its so simple that the remote doesn't have even a open/close function for the dvd - which is very logical considering you will used that feature only if you are going to place in or remove your dvd from the player, so its built on the system itself instead of the remote. Surround sound is perfect and is much much better than any other system. If you looking for sounds which should come from your back side or wherever then this system is not for you. The speaker very efficiently cover the right,left and center sound effects - so much that at many times while playing a dvd we were looking towards our left and right thinking someone or something had actually made a noise there.
And unlike the Sony dreamcase where you had wires to push in the speaker holes (very amatuerish) whereas here in Bose you have actual plug ins in the speakers !!
For the previous reviews which didn't like this system i would say it was unfortunate they must have picked up a wrong piece which may have defects.
Taking a star off for the price - but honestly that's the first time I saw Bose offering something at this level.
You can get similar systems at half the price maybe, but Bose is Bose, sound quality couldn't get any better than this...
