The digital-synthesizer tuner receives FM, AM, and weather broadcasts, and its 32 presets let you skip to the station you want. By connecting a powered subwoofer to the dedicated subwoofer output, you can enhance any musical style with lower-octave reproduction for an even greater sense of realism. The system's two-way speakers use wood enclosures. Although more expensive to manufacture than sealed-box designs, bass-reflex speakers reproduce lower frequencies more efficiently.
