Summary: Great system with few troubles
Review: I was impressed with the sound quality of this little machine right from the start and I still am. Sounds great to use as a computer sound system. The included speakers sound very, very good, reproducing all registers very, very well except the very, very deepest bass <25Hz (but no system at this size does). The amplifier takes other speakers very well too - I almost doubt it is only 15x2 watts because it can pump some HEAVY BASS out of -=VERY LARGE=- loudspeakers and STILL maintain the high fidelity sound. By saying LARGE here i REALLY mean LARGE...

Radio works flawless, as well as the other functions. It includes a cool hall reverb which they call "incredible surround". This system is truly "all that and a bag of chips".

It will survive wet Swedish nights and is very appreciated on parties at its maximum volume. (By saying "wet nights" I am talking about both the air humidity AND the alcohol it gets exposed to, ahem.)

So why don't I give it five stars?

A couple of months ago the CD player started to refuse working any good. Today, I opened it up and did some advanced lubrication inside with silicone grease - and what do you know: now it works flawless again.

I would definitely buy another one if this broke down or got stolen, but there is a new model called the MZ-33, with bigger speakers and twice the amp power, which would be even better to get, I guess :)

My review might sound faked and overly positive, but I do NOT work for Philips. Just get one of these. It won't punch one big of a hole in your wallet and it will suit most people looking for a good, compact stereo system.

Summary: Small, compact design is key!
Review: This micro system is perfect for a dorm or small apartment. I bought a second one to use at the office. It sounds terrific too - much more powerful than 30 watts! It has a lot of features that are usually found on higher priced systems, like digital sound control and the clock with alarm.
