Summary: Truly a marvelous shelf system!
Review: This line of shelf systems (they've updated the model) is fantastic. Compact, yet very powerful. Deep base--subwoofer like performance. It's not a flawless unit. The 3 cd trays are a bit awkward to use; programming the radio is less than intuitive; there's a tendency for people to leave cds/jewels and stuff on top of the speakers where subwoofer sound emanates; and the radio reception is good, but not top-notch. All in all I flat-out loved this stereo. It was perfect for our living room. It took the place of a big stereo and it didn't disappoint. It broke when my wife stuffed two cds in one tray. Oh well. If I find another one I'll buy it! Try this one or try a similar, new model.
