Review: It's a novelty when used here and there. It is fun for some shots. My 20 month old daughter giggles everytime she sees her picture with the rainbow. (beyond that, yeah, they're useless)

Review: With this filters you can create a rainbow whenever and wherever you like. You can use this filter in any weather, from a blue sky in the desert to a snowscape. For maximum effect, choose a simple scene with very little detail. Back lighting also yields excellent results. Helpful hints : The Cokin Rainbows should not be used in combination with other heavily coloured Filters. They are designed for use only with wide-angle lenses. The rainbow effect is subdued at larger apertures, and disappears at apertures above f8. The ideal aperture depends on your lens: 21 mm: f/8 24 mm: f/11 35 mm: f/16 All values are approximate
