Rating: Summary: Point off for bad smell! Review: My favorite feature is that the shade folds up like a accordion making it easier to store the camera without having to screw on the shade everytime. Now if only I could do something about that nasty rubber smell! I am surprised Tiffen didn't use less foul-smelling material.
Rating: Summary: Too much light?? This is the solution!! Review: Quite simply this product gets the job done. In a high light environment, backlight, sidelight, etc. This product will block it out and focus on the object desired in front of you. Excellent product. 10 of 10 rating.
Rating: Summary: In actual practice, rubber shades are better. Review: The debate: Metal vs. rubber lens shades. Many, myself included, like the solid feel of a metal lens shade. However, I confess that in practice it's the rubber lens shade that stays on my lenses. It folds accordian style for storing lenses compactly with lens shade ON. This also provides easier access to the lens cap. Cheap. Effective. Can't miss with this.
Rating: Summary: Making it with the Shade Review: This is a 'bump' cushioner as well as well functioning lens shade. I recommend it, definitely, as a minimal basic purchase. You'll never regret it.
Rating: Summary: Indispensable accesory... Review: This is the kind of product, you must have in your camera bag because you don't know exactly when you are going to use it but, I'm sure you are going to need it sometime. Compact, light and price affordable, don't hesitate and order yours.
Rating: Summary: Worth every penny Review: This item retracts when not in use so that you can put your lens cap on. I use it after my UV filter and it serves as a "bumper" for my lens.
