Summary: Only a good deal if you are in the market for a large bag
Review: I purchased this package for my Digital Rebel because I needed all three components. Each can be purchased separately on Amazon and unless you are interested in purchasing a new battery, the battery grip and a bag, the package is not worth the cost.

The battery is genuine Canon and so you are sure that it will work with the camera. The battery grip is reviewed on Amazon and as everyone says, it is a nice addition to the camera, but far from necessary. I think that the grip does lend a degree of stability to the camera, particularly when you shoot photos vertically. I like the way that Canon added another shutter button to the grip for vertical photos so that you don't need to use the shutter button on the camera (this option can be turned off as well).

The bag is black and made of nylon. The dimensions of the bag are 14" wide, 8" deep and 9" high. The bag comes with a shoulder strap and there are hard, rubber feet on the bottom of the bag. The bag keeps its shape well and feels well padded.

Inside of the bag are removable, padded dividers that attach with Velcro so that you can reconfigure the bag. The top of the bag flips over for access to your camera and there is a zippered, mesh pocket on the inside of the flap. The flap is secured with two clips when you shut the bag. I can fit my SLR body and two lenses inside of the bag if I set the lenses on their sides. If I put them vertically, I might be able to fit a third lens.

The front of the bag has a zippered pocket and there are two generous, zippered pockets on each side of the bag. Since this bag is marketed for the Digital Rebel, I wish that Canon added smaller dividers in the pockets for compact flash cards and batteries as other bag manufacturers do.

The bag works well for storing my camera and for carrying all of my equipment. However, it is big enough, that I would not travel with it if I were going someplace where a big bag swinging from my shoulder would be problematic. I would recommend the Lowepro Nova 2 AW instead.

In summary, a good deal if you need a bag and want the battery grip and another battery. Otherwise, but the pieces separately.

Summary: I don't see how you can go wrong...
Review: I wanted another battery and I wanted the battery grip. When I was looking for those, I stumbled on this kit. Here is the battery and grip with a nice camera bag for the same price as the two by themselves. It's like Canon is giving you the camera bag. I like free, so, order away I did. I am very pleased with it - the Canon batteries are great - having two in the battery grip is even better. Well worth the money to me - as I can't see any serious Digital Rebel shooter not wanting another battery (I have 5) and the grip. The bag is well made and very nice. However - the Amazon description is a bit deceiving on the size. In my opinion, it will NOT hold 2 bodies and lenses. I have my 300D in this one with 3 L lenses and filters/CF cards/batteries and it's stuffed. If you have 2 bodies - you likely have a set of lenses and there simply is no way you will get all of it in this bag. Still, quality is excellent and the price is right. This is a great addition to your Digital Rebel setup!
