Rating: Summary: Great aluminum case for Tungsten T and T2 Review: This is a great little case. At two-thirds the price of the comparable RhinoSkin and Palm models, its is an excellent value. You know you're just paying for the name with one of those, anyway! It has quality, dust-coat aluminum that matches the T series very well. The clasp is excellent and if anything is tough to get open at first (it loosens up with use and becomes quite easy to open, but not so much so that it pops open on its own.) Its a very sturdy case and doesn't really feel thin or flimsy to me at all. The inside of the case is very thoroughly lined with neoprene, so there is no need to worry about metal-on-metal contact or scratches to the palm. There is also no mechanical device used to secure the palm in the case: its is held there by the friction of the enclosing neoprene cushion - which I also like very much. Unfortunately, the nature of that neoprene is the only reason that the case doesn't get 5 stars. It is really quite difficult to remove the Tungsten from the case due to the friction created by the lining. I'm afraid I'm going to pull the base of my T clean off of the top section! Its awkward to have to simultaneously push the bottom, pull the top, and stabilize the case just to hotsync, because as other reviewers have noted, its a very slim case - slimmer than all the others - but not so slim that it can sit in the cradle. So until my bluetooth PC adapter and charging cable arrive, I'm stuck having to wrestle with my T just to charge and sync it. If it were just a little easier to remove the palm from the case, then it would be an easy 5 stars. As it is its really a 4.5 star case, strengthened by the price and the better features in comparison with the rival offerings. Unless you simply MUST have storage for more than one SD/MMC card, then there is no reason to look elsewhere.
Rating: Summary: Great Case but.. Review: Yeah, must admit that after breaking the screen once, this is a necessity. Why cannot Palm Tungsten be made such that it doesn't need any accessories? This has a very tight fit for the Palm Tungsten T. Yes, you can operate the handheld with ease, forget the additional SD Card storage sleeves in this case. they are inaccessible once the device is in place. the earplug jack is available but for certain sized pins since there is just small space where some pins may not fit due to excess plastic on them. I give it 4 stars for the design, price, strength and compactness. It misses one star because the only branded charger that i could find other than that dinosaur one that comes with the Tungsten, a Belkin USB hotsync cable, couldn't charge/hotsync with the handheld in the case. the Palm USB cable has too many complaints of breaking. I guess I'll have to resort to "other suppliers" for the cable but yes, the case stays. its slightly too smooth for my clumsy hands though :-) otherwise if you bought a tungsten T and value your money spent on it, buy this.
