Rating: Summary: Too Big for the Z4U Review: I own the Casio Exilim Z4U. This case is too big for the camera and the clip isn't as good as other clips I've seen and used. I am much happier using an iPod case to carry my camera as it fits much better.
Rating: Summary: Don't get this case Review: I thought it was a good idea to get a case that can clip onto my belt, but the case kept falling off. One time I actually found my camera on the ground with the case still clipped to my belt. If you want to lose your camera and/or the case, then get it. My case is now floating in a lake somewhere. Luckily, I moved the camera to my shirt pocket before the case fell off.
Rating: Summary: Can this even be called a case? Review: I was on a look-out for a case for my Casio Exilim EX-Z40. This was one of the cases that I considered. I managed to find one in a local store. Can this even be called a case? The best way I can describe it is "an oversized clip made to clip around your camera and to your belt". It is two pieces of cardboard or plastic wrapped in cloth, held together by rubberized bands. I would not trust my camera to stay in it, it also includes a spare cardboard/plastic piece, which you can stick into it with your camera, my guess is to thicken it up, and make it harder for the camera to fall out. The top of the camera is always exposed.
Overall, I would not recommend, unless this is up your alley.
I did find a case, it is made by Digital Concepts. I don't think Amazon carries it yet. Its full name is "Digital Hard Shell Camera Bag". It was about fiveteen dollars at the local Ritz camera store. It is zipper all around, belt loop, and about as small as it gets for this camera. If you can, try it before you buy it, it is a really snug fit, if you need to carry a battery or any other accesory besides an extra memory card, it will not fit in that case.
Rating: Summary: Great Case for the Exilim EX-Z40 Review: This is a great little case for the Casio Exilim EX-Z40! It fits the camera just right and snug that you don't have to worry about it dropping out. This is a perfect case for people who don't want to be carrying a bulky case around their shoulders, as you can just hook it onto your belt or just slip it inside your pocket. After all, one of the reasons you purchased a Casio Exilim was for its conveniently small size and portability.
