Rating: Summary: looks nice...but Review: Its probably the nicest looking case for the Tungsten T2, but does not provide a great deal of protection or usefulness. The T2 snaps in giving you access to being able to expand it via the open top, but it does not always rest securely in the case and can fall out of position relatively easily. It also is not very functional. It holds 2 mmr cards backwards so you cannot see the title of the card and it does not offer any kind of storage space for headphones, business cards, or anything else. It also folds open but the cover does not bend all the way behind the back of the case, so it is a bit cumbersome to hold in one hand.
Rating: Summary: Slim leather case is much better Review: Opening and closing the palm T while it is in the hard case is very awkward. It is VERY easy to unintentionally unseat the palm from the case. I found it clunky and dysfunctional. At least with the slim leather case sliding the palm open and closed is very easy and it stays connected to the case until you intend to take it out.
Rating: Summary: Solid but flawed Review: The case is fairly well made and will no doubt protect your Palm reasonably well; however, I quickly grew disenchanted with it for several reasons. First, the case does not completely enclose the Palm, a fact that is not evident from the pictures. When closed, the top and left side are still exposed, allowing access to the stylus, memory card, IR port, power button, audio jack and voice memo button. It's very possible, then, for the memory card or stylus to be ejected while the unit is in a purse or backpack, or for the unit to be turned on. While access to the jack and record button could be useful, it's unclear to me why the designers thought that access to the Palm's top was necessary. There's also a thumb cutout in the back panel for some reason, perhaps to aid in removing the Palm from the case. but it is hardly necessary. Secondly, Palm's marketing material claims that the case allows you 'full access to all Tungsten T handheld features.' That's true only if you don't consider using Graffiti a feature, as you can't expand the Palm -- and thus can not enter any data -- while it's in the case. Thirdly, the claimed 'spring loaded hinge and attachment clip to hold your device securely in place' is hardly that. The attachment clips are perhaps 2mm long. Pressing the power button or inserting/removing a memory card requires enough force that you will also unseat the Palm from the case. There are additional flaws. The expansion card slots are polarized, for some unfathomable reason, so that cards can only be stored so that the card contacts are exposed and the label can't be seen. And the spring loaded hinge doesn't always keep the case completely closed. It sometimes gapes open a few millimeters, allowing any sharp objects that might be in your bag with it the opportunity to get in and scratch the screen. Finally, the packaging also claims that the case has a cushioned lining. You can probably guess that there is none; the case is aluminum over plastic.
Rating: Summary: Nice case Review: The case is nice, although the small 'hooks' that hold it in place often release. The slots that hold the two cards are cool and a great idea...odd that they go in backwards so that you cannot tell what is on the card unless you remove it and turn it over.
Rating: Summary: It works OK, but not as sturdy as it looks Review: The pictures give you the impression that this case is especially "hard" and sturdy, but in fact its still mostly plastic and there is some play in the case hinge. Also, as others have mentioned, the SD cards don't stay in too well. But a little bit of velcro (one side only) placed just above where the cards sit does the trick.

Rating: Summary: Quite good Review: This case has been reasonably well made, although there are a couple of gripes whcih have already been well documented in this area by others, but I will reiterate to confirm them. 1. The SD holding slots on the back of the front cover, for whatever reason Palm, has chosen to have the SD cards conduit bits exposed to fingers when they are inserted and removed. No logic there. 2. It would have been nice to be able to bend the front cover all way back so that the Tungsten is able to sit comfortable in one hand instead of having to support the unit from the base. Besides, that the 2 little hooks which keep the Tungsten in place work quite well, making it simple to insert and remove for syncing/charging purposes. It does provide a nice finish to the Tungsten unit, although in theory it should be the same 'colour and finish' as the Tungsten (it's a silver/aluminium finish instead of the grey/gun metal finish of the Tungsten). Having said all that, I still believe it's the best case for the Tungsten T on the market. The rhino skin equivalent for the Tungsten is not nearly as well made as their previous version for the Palm Vx. The hinge is terrible. All the other cases are just not as practical IMHO.

Rating: Summary: Good case Review: This case is pretty good. I have been using him for about 3 months now and I am very satisfied with it. I sperfectly if you want a hard case with storage for 2 SD or MMC cards. Provides good protection and is light, very light. It uses a clever push and click mechanism to lock your PDA into the case. The only drawback is when you pushes a card into your Tungsten the downward force sometimes unlocks your PDA and it might fall out. Be aware of that. Also I heard reports of people who claim that the PDA falls out of the case when it falls [onto] the floor. I expect that this could happen. Beside these comments the protection this case provides is great, eg you can use your PDA as an mp3 and out it into your jeans back pocket or just throw your PDA in your case/bag without consideration. As whith a lot of case the price is a bit steep, but your Tungsten if worth it. Conclusion: great case, good protection if you know how to use it.
