Rating: Summary: Great Form Factor... Review: I've had this bag for about a year. I love the messenger bag form factor and the wide strap. It's really inconspicuous when walking around Manhattan. There's plenty of room. Enough room that I have packed up to three bodies (D70, FM3A, and a canonet rangefinder), 3 lenses (one attached to one of the bodies), a large speedlight (nikon sb-24), and I still have room to carry a book or two as well as several rolls of film. Of course I never carry that much on a normal day out, but I can fit it all if necessary.
Few complaints. I don't necessarily like the large "tamrac" logo on front. I cover it with black gaff tape. Then again, I guess not everyone knows the tamrac brand. The "weather guards" are nothing more than two inch foam tabs that fold over at the edge of the main compartment, hardly does much. My major complaint is that there is nothing to secure the contents in the main compartment (especially the primary camera body that's on top). Only way to secure the contents of your bag is to secure the main flap with the buckle. I don't always remember to secure the flap especially when I'm reaching into my bag often, and had one of my bodies tumble out onto the driveway when I tipped the bag. Luckily the manual nikon bodies are built like tanks.
Otherwise, I've enjoyed the bag a lot since I've gotten it and the price is good too!
