Summary: Perfect for Medium Size Digital Cameras
Review: As a user of an Olympus Camedia C700 which, as a digital camera -- due to its 10X zoom -- has a lightly longer lens, I was happy to find this medium-sized Tamrac 5696 Digital Photo Bag since it holds my camera perfectly.

The main section carries the camera. The front accessory pocket is great for batteries and my extra Flash Media (or other memory) cards. There's even a zippered compartment in the bag's top flat which I use to store my camera's USB sync cable.

The camera bag comes with a convenient shoulder strap. But it also has belt loops (for wearing on your best if you so choose) that work with Tamrac's MAS (Modular Accessory System) line -- which enables various mix-and-match camera, lens and accessory cases to be attached to a MAS system wide-web belt, or to each other.

I use the Tamrac MAS system to tote a combination of 35 mm SLR's, lenses and auto-focus cameras. With the new Tamrac 5696 Digital Photo Bag, I can now carry my digital camera as well.

Tamrac makes great equipment. You can't go wrong.

Summary: Perfect for the C 2100UZ
Review: I bought this case for the Olympus c2100 UZ and it fits perfectly. The front pocket holds two sets of spare batteries, the inside pocket spare camedia cards and the outside pocket the remote and a Zio. The camera goes in back downwards and there's additional room by the side of the lens if you need it. It has a nice long shoulder strap too. Good buy.

Summary: Fuji S5000 Fits in this Bag
Review: I had to remove the inside padded divider to get the camera in the bag, and it fits snugly. I do not load it the way others say you have to... my S5000 can be loaded sideways, so the rugged grip on the camera is always available from the top.

The only reasons this bag doesn't get 5 stars from me: The battery compartments are a little snug - my 5696 Tamrac bag does NOT have the elastic battery loops, they've replaced those with two battery compartments with velcro closures. Each of those holds 4 AA batteries, which is great for digital photographers! If I were redesigning this bag, I would add two extra pouches on either side of this bag below the shoulder strap loops for things like cigarettes, pocket knives/tools, etc. I'd also like a place to put my checkbook and credit cards, and my sunglasses case. If this bag had all that, I would throw away my purse and use this bag everyday for everything.

Summary: Good protection for all digital cameras!
Review: I'm very glad I bought this bag for my precious camera! Very strong ballistic nylon, I found seven pockets for batteries, floppy disks, extra memory, etc. Three ways to carry it. Shoulder strap, strong belt loop and carrying handle on top. This bag has enough padding that I'm not afraid to bang it into things, even drop it! Considering the quality and features this is the best camera bag available

Summary: Too big for Olympus C3020 Z
Review: It's an excellent camera bag and I was dissappointed that it's too big. It's a good size for a larger camera. The Camedia C3020 Z kind of gets lost inside this bag. Otherwise the construction is great and it has pockets galore for accessories like batteries, USB cable, charger, SmartMedia cards, AC adapter, cell phone, wallet, kitchen sink, etc.

I'm returning mine. Unfortunatley Amazon.com does not carry the bag that's the perfect fit for this camera. It's a Tamrac 5693.

Summary: IT'S IN THE BAG.......
Review: my Canon S50 that is. Plenty of room for all my accessories. Includes extra battery and CF cards as well as battery charger and A/V cable. And I still have room. Great case, previously the home to my Kodak DC 4800, which was a larger camera and still was not cramped for space. Very well made and not too bulky, can be worn on a belt or shoulder strap. It's a good buy. Goodbye!

Summary: Disappointed
Review: Originally purchased a LowePro TLZ Mini for an Olympus 2100UZ based on recommendations at [another website]. The TLZ was well constructed, but, in my opinion, camera compartment seemed too large to adequately support/protect the camera. Decided to keep looking.

Discovered the Tamrac Digital Series 6 bag during an online bag search and ordered it. Seemed like it would be a better fit based on Tamrac website info - despite other opinions posted below. The Tamrac is a little smaller and, to me, a better fit for the camera than the LowePro. It appears that I can store the camera and an A200 teleconverter in the bag. Didn't anticipate this. Camera can be stored in the bag on it's back (LCD on the bottom) or opposite direction (LCD on the top). I would expect to do the latter with the A200 stored at the bottom of the bag alongside the lens barrel.

However, the Tamrac does not have the structural rigidity of the LowePro and amount of padding is noticeably less. Four elasticized loops exist in the inside of the front pocket for battery storage, rather than separate pockets for smartmedia storage and battery storage, as pictured on the bag at the Tamrac website. Not pleased with the fit of the bag flap when flap is fastened down and carry handle is used to carry the bag. Big gap exists, roughly 1.5", between bottom of bag flap and top of camera further emphasizes limpness of this bag compared to the LowePro.

Tamrac fit is better for the 2100UZ, but LowePro construction is better. Anticipated on keeping the Tamrac, until I saw the LowePro Nova Mini when I returned the LowePro TLZ Mini. Decided to get the Nova Mini and I've been very pleased. Like the construction and rigidity of all LowePro bags. The Nova Mini is a little larger, but camera is safer and I can carry AC adaptor and A/V cables that I previously couldn't.
