Rating: Summary: filters Review: As far as this kit goes, the AC adapter is superfluous since one came with the camera. Still, the card reader with software may be worth the price. The other items are just little niceties. The inclusion of filters in any kit by Nikon would be nice! One has to purchase an adapter that fits over the zoom, snugged up by an O ring. Then, any 52mm filter will work. Look for a Coolfix adapter.
Rating: Summary: Perfect Accessory Package! Review: I bought the Coolpix 4300 recently, and was looking for accessories like flash card reader, AC adapter, and a camera case. This kit gives you all that, plus a lense cleaning rag and a very nice folding pocket for up to 8 flash memory cards. The necessary drivers for the cardreader are available on the internet, and install very easily (XP and Win 98). The camera case comes with a shoulder strap and fits the camera, the AC adapter, plus all the cables (USB, Video) and the flash card folder. Considering, that a cardreader by itself already costs some [money], and the AC adapter some [money], it is an excellent value - highly recommend it for the 4300!
Rating: Summary: Very pleased with this kit! It's a great deal! Review: I have the Nikon Coolpix 4500 camera and I recently purchased this accessory kit for it. I have nothing but good things to say about it!!! -The camera case is of very high quality and not only does it fit the 4500 camera, but there's also room for other accessories, such as the AC adapter, compact flash cards, etc. -The AC adapter is very useful because it does NOT come with the camera (at least not with the Coolpix 4500). -The compact flash card reader, lens cloth, and card wallet are other nice things to have.If all of these items were purchased separately, the grand total of all of them combined would have been well over [$]. Thus, this kit is a very good buy and very complementary to the camera. After I had purchased this kit, I read the reviews by other users and they seem to be misleading. But once I received the kit, I was pleasantly surprised by its contents and I discounted the misleading information supplied by some of the reviews.

Rating: Summary: Geat accessory kit for my 5700 camera Review: I purchased the Nikon Coolpix Deluxe Accessory Kit from Walmart.com for under $30 in December 2003. Like several other reviewers, I found that the AC adapter that came with the kit (the EH-52) was NOT the one specified by Nikon for my Coolpix 4300 (the EH-53), and I was concerned about using it on a new camera that cost close to $400. I contacted Nikon tech support by e-mail, and they responded that the EH-52 and EH-53 AC adapters are interchangeable. Both models have the same voltage and amperage output. I bought the kit primarily for the case and the card reader. The case is well padded and roomy -- an excellent choice for those who need to carry more than the camera and an extra battery and memory card. If you are carrying just those three items, however, you might want to get a case that's smaller and less bulky. The card reader is an excellent accessory, but it might be worth noting that the kit includes a "generic" (i.e., non-Nikon) card reader. The other items that come with the kit are nice, but I do not have too much use for them. AC adapters limit the camera's mobility, but they are certainly handy if you are using the camera from a fixed location and have access to a power source. I prefer to keep memory cards in their original cases rather than use the card wallet that came with the kit. The lens cleaning cloth is also nice, but I would rather use the disposable kind so I do not worry about depositing dirt back onto an expensive lens after several uses. The kit is a great buy if you can get it for a low price. Current (January 2004) online prices range from $19.76 (2buystore) to $69.99 (Circuit City), so shop around.

Rating: Summary: Specify the contents Review: It would be nice to know if filters are included in the kit. If so, will they fit the 5700 model? I've searched the internet unsuccessfully for a filter that will mount to the 5700's lens???
Rating: Summary: Beware of AC Adapter that comes with this product Review: Overall I was very pleased with the quality of the product but unfortunately had to send the kit back b/c the AC Adapter included was not the one advertised. This kit comes with an EH-52 rather than the stated EH-53. I needed an EH-53. My Nikon says that if I used anything but I could overheat the components. If your camera can use an EH-52, this is a great buy.
Rating: Summary: Geat accessory kit for my 5700 camera Review: The case fits very well with my Coolpix 5700 camera. The EH-52 AC adaptor's output rating on the product label is 8.4V/1.3A Max, which is the same as the EH-53. I tested it, worked fine. My PC running Window XP detected the memory card reader automatically and showed it as another removable drive. Transfering pictures without any problem. I can also use the card reader like a USB drive with the Flash memory plugged in.
