Rating: Summary: Good fit and quality, perfect for S400 Review: I have this little case, and it's perfect for the S400. It cushions the camera without being overly thick. I can usually fit the camera in this case in my pants pocket. It has NO room for accessories, so if you're looking for a carry-all look for something else. This case only protects the camera. It has a beltloop for wearing on your belt, and a little hole in the flap for the camera's strap to go through. It closes securely with velcro.
Rating: Summary: If it only had a belt clip... Review: I just want to warn you that this case has does NOT have a belt "clip" as a couple of the other reviewers suggested. It only has a belt *loop*, which is useless if you don't wear a belt. I was incredibly disappointed, so don't be misled! Otherwise, it's a good, cheap case for simple coverage of your camera.
Rating: Summary: Wonderful little case Review: I tried my 410 in both cases Canon makes for them. This one is leather and I think it is just better--softer, better fit, closes easier. It protects the camera in my purse. When I go on a trip, however, and the camera needs a little more protection I can pop the 410 in this leather case into a SMALLER regular padded camera case than is possible if I had the other case Canon makes for the Elf cameras. That case (with the silver clasp) is vinyl and bulkier. Hope this helps!
Rating: Summary: Nice compact case for your small camera Review: I use to have another case from Canon that had an extra pouch for extra CF memory cards, but this leather case just gets to the point. Leather case for the small camera and the camera only so no extra space. Hope that made sense, but yes, I recommend this case.
Rating: Summary: Terrific case Review: I was looking for -as compact as it gets- bag for my Canon S400. I didn't care about the spare compartemts or battery pockets, but I needed my small camera to remain small. Ordered this one from Amazon and received it three days later. It is high quality leather case with a nice belt attachement on the reverse side. The case is so small, camera hardy becomes larger when placed inside! Look elswhere if you want a backpack full of pockets for you camera... This is the elegance, not a backpack.
Rating: Summary: The SOFTEST case for your Canon Review: I went through several Canon cases before settling on this one. The first one I bought was made of really hard leather (like the leather in your dress shoes). The next one I bought was the Canon PSC-50 Soft Leather Case which was quite soft (like a leather jacket). This case is even softer, primarily because the leather is thinner than the PSC-50. This probably means that there is less protection than the PSC-50. Still, I prefer this case since it's softer and it's less bulky. I use this case with the Canon SD110 digital camera. While the fit is not so snug for the SD110 or the SD100 cameras, the fit is much better on the S230, S400, S410, and S500 cameras since they are slightly bigger than the SD110/100.
Rating: Summary: Good fit for S500 Review: It fits the S500 perfectly, but I noticed some complaints about the tightness. I just use the camera strap to pull it out and no problems at all. The lining on the case protrudes an extra 2 mm to protect your camera from side damage. No extra room for CF and battery, but no big deal since you can easily slip those in one of your MANY pockets or purse.
I have included a backside image of the case (see above) and I can tell you it is definitely a belp loop. I recommend this case if you just need an inexpensive small case to protect your camera from scratches.
Rating: Summary: Doesn't get any better than this Review: Just got it for my S400 Canon and fits perfectly. Great price!!
Rating: Summary: Fits Canon s230 Review: Looks and fits great on the s230.
Rating: Summary: Good quality. Fits S400, a little tight in the beginning Review: This camera case is constructed with good quality. The belt clip is quite handy. The small size gives you the option to slip the whole thing into the pocket. A reviewer suggested that the soft leather may not provide enough protection, but I think this camera case is a good compromise between size and protection. Really on a daily basis, the most fragile part of the camera is the LCD screen. This camera case would be sufficient to prevent scratches. There isn't a whole lot of reason to get a bulkier case and sacrifice the option to slip it into the pocket. The fit for my S400 camera was too tight in the beginning, and it took some effort to get the camera out of the case. However, the leather stretched to fit the camera after a week or so. Now the fit is perfect. What I don't particularly care for is the large, gold logo "Canon Elph" which I'm afraid invites undesirable attention. If you have a Canon Digital Elph you need to get this case.
