Summary: Best Case for Canon S230
Review: I did my research looking for the perfect case for my Canon S230 and this one is it.

Pros:
1. Classic look - best looking case by far!
2. Durable leather
3. Perfect fit

Cons:
1. Velcro quality so-so
2. Fits only camera - definitely not the case if you want room for accessories. But remember, the Canon S230 was made for portability and spur-of-the-moment pictures...leave the accessories at home.

There isn't a better case out there for the Canon S230. And believe me, I looked at a lot of cases.

Summary: As an owner of a Canon S230 Elph
Review: I don't actually own this case (because it wasn't available when I was looking for one) but I have the PSC-300, which is a dark blue suede-like material case made for the S300 and S330. My camera fits nicely into the PSC-300, and it has a front zipper pocket with enough space to store extra compact flash cards and a battery. If you own a S200 or S230, don't care about the leather and want extra storage space, the PSC-300 may be the way to go.

Summary: Snazzy, but impractical
Review: I don't own this case, but I got to play with one in the store. It's slim and has no padding to speak of, other than the thin leather. It would be fairly convenient as a backup "sheath," given the belt clip and easy-open, but the issue with the wrist-strap hole on the lid, combined with the fact that it has no extra storage space makes it less desireable.

I purchased a different, generic case about twice the size of this one, which included a shoulder-strap, belt-loop and extra pocket for memory/batteries. It also has enough interior room to store both my Canon S400 and the battery charger together--and it cost about half as much from the store as this case does from Amazon--and it still fits in the palm of my hand.

There are better cases out there for less money.

Summary: Great Case!!
Review: I got this case for my S410 & it is exactly what I wanted, it fits the camera like a glove. It would've been nice if there was a small pocket for the memory stick, but with memory cards available upto 1GB who would want to carry extra memory anyway!.

Summary: No pockets, wore finish on camera
Review: I got this case when I ordered my Canon SD110 (excellent camera). The camera fits inside and for the money I get the case gets the job done. I was a little disappointed there wasn't an extra pocket for memory cards or anything. My major issue with it though is that it seems to have worn off a good deal of the finish on my camera body....well, either that or it's leaving something ON my camera. I wouldn't recommend this unless you absolutely need a case and don't care how good it is.

Summary: PSC-50 case
Review: I have been using this case almost daily for the last year and love it. I have been looking for another case to carry my folding cellphone as I am around boats and water a lot and do not trust clips. I like the compact size, the belt loop, and the speed the camera can be available for photos. I use another type of small belt case for an extra battery and CF cards. I am ordering two more of these cases.

Summary: LowePro MX85 Better Case for S400, S410
Review: I highly recommend the Lowepro MX85 case. It is padded nicely, fits the Canon S400 or S410 snugly, attaches to your belt, has a removable shoulder strap, and enough room for 1 extra memory card. I don't work for Canon, I don't work for LowePro or Ritz Camera, but I think the MX85 is a better overall case for the $9.95 I spent on it at Ritz Camera.

Summary: Simple
Review: I like it. It's simple and sleek. If I wanted something more protective or bulkier, I would have opted for something else. But this is ideal for avoiding scratches and anything of that sort.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: not a perfect case
Review: I like the fact that it fits my S400 like a glove, I dont need any additional space. I can always carry extra memory cards or batteries in a kit bag, no big deal.
But I am totally totally surprised, why none of the reviewers point out that the loop design in this case is flawed. It is very irritating when once i finish taking a picture, i have to loop the entire thread back through the case hole on the top. This case does not get my vote.
