Summary: Pretty nice, though VHS will always suck
Review: First off, VHS is always going to suck. S-VHS is nice (almost Laser Disc quality), but regular is lame. Still though, many things are only available on VHS so why not just record them? I've used quite a few 10 hour tapes (largely for marathons and 3 hour movies in SP) in my time, and these ones are plenty good. Needless to say, $10 for 3 is also a pretty good price. Oh yeah, why was that guy transferring Laser Disc to video tape? It's not like Laser Discs 'die' (as tapes of all kind do), and the players last forever. You can't get much money for them used, so why would he sell them?

Summary: FITTING THE FRAME
Review: For the past ten years, I have been collecting video laserdiscs. With the overwhelming acceptance of DVD, laserdisc products have practically disappeared from the market. So I bought a JVC HRS9500 S-VHS ET recorder to transfer as many of these discs to tape as possible. Because I prefer using the SP speed for maximum picture quality, many of the blockbuster films (JFK, Patton, The Blue Max) in my collection just won't fit the "frame" of a 2-hour T-120. Yes, I could record the film on two tapes, but with a small home and a large laserdisc collection, I wanted to put one movie on one tape whenever possible. Memorex's T-200 fit my needs to a "T". One of the problems years ago with longer tapes was their need to be very thin, adversely affecting tape handling within the VCR. They tended to break and jam. Picture quality was also poor and got worse over time. It appears that most of these problems have been solved, and the Memorex tape provides a very good picture using the SP speed and the S-VHS ET option on my VCR. Unfortunately, only a handful of vendors nationwide offer this most useful tape. T-180 lengths would be useful as well. I look forward to Memorex producing larger quantities of this tape length soon, so I can restock my depleted supply!

Summary: Memorex T-200 (10 Hr) 3 Hrs 20 Mins SP Tape - Finally!
Review: I don't know why they're only here in Plano TX, and I can probably guess where the other customer got his, but they have since quit carrying this wonderful tape. I tape, edit and collect numerous broadcast series ( Star Treks - all, X-Files, MLM, etc. etc,) Since I record @ SP for quality transfer it was terrible trying to catch marathons or a whole evening 3 hrs without hovering around changing tapes out during commercial breaks... T-200 saved me so much STRESS. I can't find this product anywhere around here so amazon is going to save me my sanity. I can't wait for ya'll to get this in stock. Please, hurry!

Summary: The ability to re-record makes this tape a great deal.
Review: I tape programs every day and record over the same tape over and over again. The last three-pack of these tapes I bought lasted me over 2-1/2 years. The 10 hour length also insures I never miss a program even when I go on vacation.

Summary: At 10+ hours this tape's great for archiving while away.
Review: You know how some channels will run "marathons" during 3-day weekends? Sometimes though, your office may not recognize the holiday. No problem. Pop in this tape before leaving for work and, at EP/SLP, when you get home you've got 10 hours of the "The Twilight Zone" or whatever. Also, "Director's Cut" movies (usually longer) fit well at SP (3h 20m).
