Summary: Taking a chance if you buy it
Review: I have had this product for a couple of months now and loved it, until it stopped working randomly. I have tried it in a number of computers and I get nothing. Just from reading reviews in various places, the drive seems to stop working for a lot of people after 2 - 5 months. Its very annoying since Lexar is advertising its "durability". It seems to be hit or miss. Some say they have used it a ton and never had a problem and many seem to have it suddenly break down as it did to me. It was cheap though and for the price it was a nice little toy, but it clearly isn't really much more then a toy. If you get one, be sure to backup your files to a computer often as you risk losing all your saved data someday. All in all, I would not recommend it. Price is good, but remember, you get what you pay for.

Summary: Product died in less than 2 weeks
Review: I bought this product becaues I desperately needed to carry files from work to home. I accidentally dropped the Jumpdrive about 3 feet, and I started having problems with it. It would sometimes work and sometimes my computers would detect it. This problem continued for about a week, until it wouldn't work at all. There is no visible damage to the inside (some of you might have thought that something broke, but this is not the case). No piece is loose. It just doesn't work that great. If I were a person shopping for a product like this one, I would look into buying something a little more expensive. You don't want to have to run into my problem and lose all your information. Don't buy this product.

Summary: Don't BUY IT it's JUNK!
Review: The construction of this jump drive is pathetic. Also, I recently lost everything I had stored on it. I have a simpletech 256mb usb2 drive and the construction of it is 1o times better! Go with Simpletech, you'll be glad you did!

Summary: no cap!
Review: This jump drive is great, keeps me from having to carry around (and risk damaging) my laptop between work/school/home in order to have the files I need. However, within the first week of having this product, the purple cap that protects it fell off. To buy new ones, you have to purchase a pack of 5 off of lexar's website, and it costs about $12 after shipping...for a silly little piece of plastic that was lost due to poor engineering.

Summary: Beware
Review: This thing worked great for about a month. I hardly used it at all. Suddenly and Unexpected it died, it doesn't do anything anymore. We think it may have come close to a strong magnet. In any case it is worthless now and I only used it about 5 times. These things are supposed to be durable but this was ridiculous.

Summary: Works Every Time
Review: I used this product while on travel. There were many different brands of machines being used in our meeting and we needed to transfer files between all machines. This jump drive worked in every brand and type of machine, even in Mac. Many of the other jump drives that were being used were not compatible with all machines being used. If you want a jump drive that will work every time between all different types of machines, this is the jump drive is for you.

Summary: So easy to use, so fast, so convenient
Review: I purchased this device a while ago and let me tell you it is the best little gadget I have come across so far. It is instantly recognized/opened on Windows XP machines, and as for other machines, you just download and install the little program off Lexar's web site in about 2 minutes then you're ready to roll. It is very fast, between a second or two per each song (about 5 MB). I couldn't be happier with it. It looks well made and the cap (w/ clip) closes VERY tightly. I have to actually pull pretty hard to get it off. This will help a lot when it is in my pocket. If you're looking for something like this, I highly recommend this product.
