Summary: Does its job good, but the headphones
Review: Actually, I bought the RP2376 model, but it is pretty much the same.

The player is really nice and has a good design. There arent a whole lot of features, but it does offer what you need including programability, 45 second anti-skip, bass boot/surround sound, shuffle, repeat and your normal play, pause, stop, eject functions.

The surround sound feature sounds nothing like surround sound in part from the stock headphones. These headphones have little to no treble, so it sounds like your listening to an old 1930's AM radio.

If your looking to listen to some music and need a relatively inexpensive cd player, you found the one.

Summary: Impressive? I think so.
Review: At 13, this was to be my first CD player. I looked around a lot, at many differant sites. There were no reviews for this one here, so I overlooked it at first, but I found a site with a list of features for it. This thing's got programming, hold, resume play options, random play, and a FM radio (if I were to forget a CD). Also, the headphones are a dream. Black leather, they never come off. The sound is excellent and crisp, especially in Surround or Bass boost modes. The buttons are excellent, too. They are in easy reach, and not hard to press, but they don't get pressed in my book bag or pocket, and that's what hold is for. It's slim and small enough to fit in my pants pocket, and I didn't have more than $100 to spend either, so this was definitly the best buy I could have made. I'd buy another any day. Well, I already have one, so I'd tell someone to buy it any day.$$

Review: I am soooo glad I bought this CD player instead of the over priced Sony or Panasonic! In fact I am listening to it right now and I use it everyday at the gym. Anybody that would give this wonderful piece of technology a bad review obviously does not know their electronics very well! The biggest surprise for me was that it actually has 25 preset stations. The ad said only 4 but they must have upgraded this model. The anti-skip is just amazing because you can literally throw it down and it will still play fine with no skips. It is very lightweight and the ultra-slim design lets you take it anywhere, even in your pocket. I am a big RCA fan since I own many of their products including my TV and they all have been awesome. "BUY IT"

Summary: Great CD player
Review: I got this CD player for my birthday. It's a great CD player, extremely durable. It has very good radio reception, and a very good anti-skip. I took it on a vacation and I dropped it from about 5 feet on accident. The CD player broke into two pieces and the CD went across the floor. It took me about ten minutes to put it back together but still worked fine because the way they electronics are connected you have to cut it to break it. I lost mine in a taxi and I'm going to buy the same one again, I would recommend it to anyone and everyone, its definitly worth the price!

Summary: A Great CD player.
Review: I have had this CD player for about a year and half now, and I have onl seen a couple problems with it so far. First of all the headphones it comes with are junk, so I bought new sony headphones--problem solved--Then the batteries were always running out, I bought rechargable batteries, or listened to it with my AC adapter--problem solved--. Other than those two minor problems this CD player makes to be one of the best on the market. You can drop it, shake it, and the songs won't skip! There are many modes you can take including shuffle, repeat, ect. Also, the best part is that it has a radio! When I get tired of listening to my CD's I can just simply turn on the radio whenever I want! It is a great value for your money!

Summary: I RECOMMEND THIS FOR ANYONE.....
Review: i recommend this for anyone who wants to pay alot for a cheap cd player. i just got it yesterday and i don't like it. the sound quality isn't all that great and the way they've made the cd player and the headphones is stupid. the headphones fit very losely so they come out easy and when you listen to it, it fades in and out alot because of it. sure it does have a radio and a lot of other features but it's definitly not worth what you pay for it. so if you don't mind the poor sound quality, it's high price, and the really annoying fading in and out of the headphones than i recommend this cd player for you.

Summary: Okay for a while...
Review: I've had mine for about two years, and I've seen my fair share of problems with it. First of all, the hold switch never worked. I would put it on and the cd player would start playing in my bag. Sometimes when you press the foward button to go to the next track, the esp goes off. And sometimes I press the buttons, and nothing happens. It eats up batteries like crazy. I'll be going on a four hour car trip, and before the ride is done, I need to switch batteries. Also the headphones are made very poorly, and the spring holding the top on fell out recently, so I have to hold the top on with a rubberband. The good things about this player are the sound and esp. The bass boost sounds really good and when the esp has been on, I haven't had a skip. Overall I'd say that you should probably buy a different player, because this is an okay one but it is not worth the price.
