Summary: Fantastic, Rugid CD Player
Review: I've had mine for over 5 years now (scary huh). I got it in Aug 1999 and it is still working - no problems. This player will go with you everywhere and work great. It can also take a beating - I've dropped it ALOT and it still works perfectly. A couple months ago I thought it was finally failing, but it turned out that the headphones I was using were the product that was failing. All the features work great. I'm considering upgrading now only because I would like a player capable of playing mp3 data cds, which were before this one's time.

This CD Player has made me a firm believer in Panasonic quality - now when I buy anything electronic I first check what panasonic has...although their phones don't seem to work all that well.

I can say without a doubt that my next cd player will be a panasonic.

Summary: Panasonic Does It Again!
Review: It seems Panasonic can do no wrong. I recently purchased Panasonic's SL-SX500 model CD Player, and although it differs slightly in shape from the SL-S360, the basic principles are the same: high quality for a low price. Unlike Sony's over-priced Discman's, the Panasonic CD Player line-up features great pricing with incrdeible playback options. I was especially impressed with the slim design of the unit, as well as the overall weight ( you can hardly feel anything ). Of course, Panasonic has included all of its playback features, including random, resume, repeat one/all, three different EQ settings, as well as 24 tracks of programmable memory...not to mention a whopping 40 seconds of electronic memory ( compare that to Sony's 20 seconds ). Your music will never skip! Finally, with a pop-up disc eject system, and a built-in battery charger, the SL-SX500 or any other Panasonic CD Player model, is simply put...the only Portble CD Player you will ever need. Total reliability and musical satisfaction garunateed. Way to go, Panasonic!

Summary: Very happy with the quality of this CD Player!!
Review: Panasonic has come through for me yet again with this great CD player. The anti-skip feature is awesome--I've tried everything to try to make it skip but to no avail, this thing is sturdy!! In addition the buttons are easy to use for when you are on the move, I especially love the "hold" feature so that my music is not interrupted if I press a button by accident. I've sampled other CD players which skipped a lot easier and were a lot more "fumbly" with the button layout & disc ejection--Panasonic has done a great job with this product's design. Overall I highly reccmmend it, plus for the price it can't be beat!

Summary: The Panasonic CD-jogger is excellent
Review: The Panasonic CD-jogger is worth more than the price they charge here at amazon.com eletronics. It is the best portable Cd player that I will probably ever own. It is Very good. It is easily worth the $80.00. Beside the fact Panasonic is a good Electronics Company.

Summary: Plays great even while riding a motorcycle!
Review: This CD player really makes the grade. When riding a motorcycle, I listen to CDs. I have had portable players for years and have used them on my Harley. I wear it in a leather CD player holder over my shoulder. It doesn't "flap in the breeze" but does bounce around quite a bit. Former players skipped quite a lot. This one has not missed a beat. I have a windshield, but even at 70+ mph, this baby performs. Great sound. Easy to operate. Extended battery life is also a plus.

Summary: Sturdy and Sweet
Review: This is a fantastic CD Player. After two years of violent abuse, it finally broke. My player has gone through a lot, and still occasionally works. I've dropped it on rocks, thrown it around, and it eventually stopped operating when I spilled water inside.
My only complaint is that if I don't use the anti-shock protection, it skips like a MOTHER. Aside from that, it's worked beautifully and provides amazing battery life. It was definitely worth my money and it served me well.

Summary: Excellent player. Wish sound quality were better with AS
Review: This is a great CD player. Easy to use, doesn't eat batteries and sounds as good as any portable I have ever listened to-IF you keep both the XBS and the anti-shock off. I would be a lot happier if they had improved the bit rate through the shock buffer, but that would have meant shortening its length or upping the price, so presumably their marketing department wouldn't let them. The player still has reasonable shock resistance without the shock buffer, adequate for walking smoothly.

Summary: Slim, compact, cool design, and great sound!
Review: This is a great portable CD player! The 40 seconds of anti-shock memory really impressed me. I have not done any jogging with it, but I really shook the unit for a test and was surprised that it withstood the shaking! For the money, this is truly a must have CD player. Perfect gift! The only con I found was the headphones. You may want to consider a better, less bulky pair once you purchase the unit.

Summary: For the money, this is an excellent player; NO SKIPPING!
Review: This player has the best of all worlds. Unbelieveable battery life (at least 20 hours WITH anti-skip turned on), an absolutely extra-terrestrial anti-skip feature with an amazing 40 sec. memory, plus all the usual programming modes. The quality of the headphones may be less than the best. This is the smallest and slimmest personal cd player I've ever had. You won't know it is in your pocket. PANASONIC DOES IT AGAIN!
