Review: Choose item for value, anti skip features and cable remote which my son planned to use while snowboarding. Unit did not function well from the start, skipped frequently even when stationary and remained stuck in fastforward mode. Was unhappy with unit and returned it.

Review: Hmmm... Where do i start? This cd player is hot! What else can i say? It doesn't skip at all. Maybe if u drop it real hard. :-) I run/jog with it almost every day.Also, the remote really comes in handy for people who do not like to keep goin in there pockets(like me).The price is a very good deal.I got enormous compliments for the way it looked and the remote.I told three of my friends and they went and bought it also.Please, Please if you are looking for a good portable cd player, buy this one!

Review: I have had nothing but problems with this CD Player, and I have had experience with two different RP2422 units. i would give it zero stars if Amazon allowed me to. The antiskip function, which is supposed to be on all of the time, stops working. Believe the other comments! On the first rp2422 I bought, the antiskip failed the day after I bought it. I returned it to the store and exchanged it for another, only to have the same problem pop up about a month later on that one.I believe that this product has some design flaws and would stay away from it like the plague. Please save yourself lots of frustration and look at a different model (at this point, I'm not entirely sure if it would be a good idea to buy a Thompson/RCA personal CD player in any case). If you don't care about the antiskip, this actually could be a good choice, as it plays CD-R's and CD-RW's, and has a nice remote. I just feel, however, that there are much better choices elsewhere.

Review: I would give this no stars if I could. Don't waste your money. It cuts itself off repeatedly and often will only play half a song, sometimes it won't play the cd at all. I've had this only a week and I am already wanting to throw it away.

Review: If you are looking for a good quality, good sound, and good looking cd player, you have met it, the rca rp 2422 !!! very nice cd player, cool coler, the remote comes in handy and is really cool , dont listen to everyone else, it doesnt skip! I recommend this cd player! it can be used anywhere! here are some of my thoughts, Pros:
~cool look
~cool remote
~great sound and no skip
~lightweight Cons:
the headphones that come with this arent very god :( . but that does not set this itm off for not buying! get this item! you wont regret it at all!

Review: The CD player is really bad. Its anti-skip function doesn't work at all. It sometimes skip even when I put it on the desk. It was broken only two days after I got it. Don't waster money on it.

Review: This cd player (I have a slightly older model) doesn't skip in the car, when I am walking or hiking... never. The remote is handy in the car... it's not wireless, but it puts the volume and track controls in better, safer reach for the car or when you've got the player in your backpack or jacket pocket. I am really happy with it.

Review: When I first got this CD player it was great!!It was light so I could carry it easily around.The headphones won't fall off even when I ran really fast. The remote was cool to!The music played really good.That's why you should get this CD PLAYER!!!!LTM
