Summary: The Best!
Review: Considering price vs. Quality this is the best choice possible. the only thing I dislike are the headphones which came with it but those were easily replaced. I also love the "Groove" Mode which pumps out the best bass I've ever heard out of a portable CD player. The battery life is also great and the water resistance is another nice feature. And the ESP is strong enough to withstand car rides, jogging, walking, or even biking! The Design and look are also great. If you want the best cd player for your dollar buy this NOW!

Summary: Do not spend your money on this player. It is a dud!
Review: I bought this player about 4 months ago and didn't even use it for running or much of anything outdoors when i had to send it in because it stopped working. I got it back from Sony, but they hadn't fixed anything! The second time I sent it back they fixed it but not 2 months later, the buttons quit working right! It is currently being repaired for the 3rd time in about as many months, which is ridiculous, considering I spent almost 200 bucks on it! I think Sony spent a little to much time making it look good, but not enough in quality. Nice things are the comfy headphones, the recharagable battery (although it doesn't last to long) and the AC adapter. I recommend spending less, because it apparently doesn't matter that much in terms of quality, which is what I thought I was getting!

Summary: Do not spend your money on this player. It is a dud!
Review: I had purchased this player about one about 1 year ago and for the most part it delivered the sound quality and anti skip protection that was advertised. I use the player heavily, sometimes more than eight hours a day, and it seemed to live up to the hype of being a sport discman that could deliver quality sound and was rugged enough to exercise with. I have to say that I didn't abuse the player. I took it out walking, but never jogging and most of the extended playing time occured while stationed on my desk at work.

Then about three months ago I had problems with the buttons. Sometimes they would work and sometimes they would not. Then the sound would fade in and out. Recently, it stopped working all together. I had taken it to a local electronics shop and the person who fixes players told me that the little plastic coated circut strip had cracked and torn. You can see this strip when the player is open. Without this the player is useless since none of the functions will work. It can't even just play CDs. I am currently in the process of deciding wheather or not to get it fixed. The repair man told me it could cost as much to fix it as it cost to purchase.

For the amount of money that this player costs I should have been able to use it for at least another year, possibly two. Don't buy this player. Your money would be better spent on an Awia or a Panasonic product.

Summary: Beast!
Review: If you are looking for a portable CD player that will leave you with nothing but smiles on your face, than you have found it... To call this player anything less than a beast would be an understatement. It has supperior skip protection, increadable sound quality, and rock solid construction (not even mentioning the fact that it's water proof), I've had mine for three years now, and it still looks mint. The only thing that I do have against this machine is the headphones, but those are simple enught to replace, get a pair of the "Street Style" by Sony, and you will have a work of art. And even beyone the technical data, you can't pick this player up and say that it doesn't look cool, I've been getting nothing but commplimenting remarks from frineds from the moment I bought it.
