Review: CD player is great. It does not skip at all and the batteries last for a long time. It is also a great deal (...).

Summary: Excellent Purchase
Review: I am 100% satisfied with this portable CD player. It was affordable, has excellent sound quality, and NEVER skips! I use it on my eliptical runner exercise machine in my home and on my speed walks outdoors; it hasn't skipped yet. I place it in a fanny pack and go. I would recommend it to anyone. Personally, I prefer in-your-ear earphones, so I have replaced the earphone which come with the CD player with my own set. I'm very pleased.

Summary: Forget Sony -- Panasonic portable cd rocks!
Review: I am listening to this unit as I type this. While I don't know if this is the best electronic item ever produced, I can say it is miles better than the Sony discman [crud] I had to put up with for 2 years. Since I didn't really use the unit that much, I didn't bother replacing it until recently. But, wow, I'm now very glad I did.

I have play a half dozen cds so for and no skips. I couldn't go 6 minutes with the Sony. The unit is smaller than the Sony (I had), also lighter, and I think sounds better. The drawbacks are the awkward controls. There are 2 sets of 4 buttons and you have to look at them to do things at first. I'm sure after a while you get used to them, but they aren't as intuitive to me as the Sony controls were. Oh, well, that's a minor inconvenience. Now, I wouldn't buy any portable CD unit other than Panasonic. My research leads me to believe they not only have the best units, it isn't really close. Get this unit: you won't be sorry!

Summary: A BEST BUY!
Review: I got this CD Player today and not only was I thrilled about the design and color, but the playing factor!! The Anti-Skip works great! I tested my friends CD players, but this, I say, is the best!! You can easily remember the buttons, but they are a tiny bit small. Although no Car-kit or AC Adapter (14.5V), this thing is great. It also uses rechargeable batteries and a CD- R(W) adaptability. The headphones are great too, go GET THIS CD PLAYER! :) (I would give it 5-thumbs up if I could!)

Summary: One ... of a good CD player
Review: I just got this CD player yesterday. Its the best cd player I have ever got in my life. This baby never skips. It also has this new "hold" system. It makes it so if u leave your CD player on it turns off by its self. I recommend that u buy this CD player right now!

Summary: A good deal for the low price
Review: I wanted a portable CD player but didn't want to invest alot of money. I found this one and decided to give it a shot. I haven't been disappointed yet. This CD player is lightweight and easy to carry in your hand while walking down the street. I have not experienced any skipping, even while quickly dodging traffic on busy Chicago streets. But most impressive is the 'hold' feature that when activated locks all the controls. This is ideal because the player can't be accidently turned on and your batteries won't wear down. Talking about batteries, they have a long life too! If you're looking for a good value for your money this may be it!

Summary: Perfect for some, bit less for others
Review: If you're one who tends to set your cd player and keeps all original settings to the end of the cd, this player is perfect. Sound quality and the anti skip feature are flawless and exceeded my expectations. Changing settings, however, requires removing the unit from your carrying case. Unlike some players that have a dial type volume control on the bottom and a slit in the bottom of the carrying case to access this control, no such convenience exists here. My answer was to superglue a stainless steel belt clip to the back of the player to leave the controls accessible. However . . . since the controls are so small and virtually indistinguishable by feel, some physical contortion is still needed to make changes. Once again, the sound quality is wonderful (even with RW CDs)and I haven't experienced a single skip while jogging. Were I to do it again however, I'd spend a little more for a panasonic with remote control.

Summary: You can really take your music with you!
Review: Nice unit! Bought one this spring and have used it all summer
everywhere doing every thing. Yes I have gotten it to skip but
only rarely. I haven't jogged with it, but I have run tractors
and riding mowers with it. It performs in any position, play all my CR/RW cd's without a flaw. I have droppped it and banged it around and it still works fine. Highly recommend it.
