Summary: From school to tennis.
Review: Great player. I have it already for about 1 year and never had problems with it.
I use it a lot ..when i`m going to the tennis courts (this happens a lot of times), when i`m outside just hanign out, when i`m travelling. Great sound (no offnce!!!) .
One of the best cd players that you can get around this price:)

Summary: Great Skip-Free Portable
Review: I've owned this model for about a year. I listen to it every day at work. Just today I was listening to a CD and I accidentally dropped the player off my desk. It bounced a couple of times and landed upside-down -- the player never skipped a single beat. That's amazing. It has terrific sound and is easy to program. (And the price isn't bad, either). Highly recommended!

Summary: Lasted me for over 1.5 years
Review: Pros: Battery life! I bought 4 Rayovac rechargable batteries with this unit and have yet to ever buy new batteries. Two rechargables last anywhere from 15-20 hours. Skip protection: Dropped it pretty hard and it didn't skip. Cons: OEM headphones are garbage. Automatic Volume limiter sometimes comes on by itself and is very annoying. Sometimes when running this player skips. I think longer term jolts will cause this unit to skip. Overall: When I bought this cd player in the fall of 2001, it was really cool at the time. It looks cool and has amazing battery life. With the newer mp3 players, radio, etc, I see no need to buy this player.

I always have G-protection on, and get about 30 hours of playtime before the batteries die. I didnt like the earphones much, so i replaced them, but they work well. Nice features. I suggest you all but this player :) Rlly, rlly, rlly nice.

Summary: Good...But Not the Best of Sony's CD Players
Review: This CD player is good for what it does. It plays CDs without missing a beat generally, although it has done that several times with me. Additionally, since the sliding latch is on the bottom, several times the CD that was playing popped out, and that was in a bookbag. This is a great CD player for the price, and the G-Protection is great. But...this is one of those CD players that wants to play outside, but it's not really designed for it. This CD player is much better around the house as a homebody.
