Summary: A Very Good Portable CD Player
Review: ... I bought this CD player and used it on the way home, didn't skip at all, the bass quality was great. Only reason i didn't give it 5 stars is that it has no easy pause feature, if you press stop twice (which turns the unit off) and then turn it back on it automatically picks up where you left off after a second. Overall this is a great portable CD Player for pretty much anyone (unless you're jogging in which case I don't understand why you can't just listen to the radio)

Summary: A Very Good Portable CD Player
Review: After much research for a portable MP3 CD player, I decided that all the mp3 portables had too many problems at present to justify the cost. The biggest problems with the Mp3 players seems to be skipping. The biggest solution with most is to add more buffer. I think that the Sony solution of making the transport less prone to vibration before adding more buffer makes a big difference. The CD, drive, and laser float together on one assembly inside the housing. I turned off the electronic shock protection, and tried to make the unit skip. It would not do so with normal activity or running with the player in my pocket. If you beat on it in time to the music, as you would a drum, it will skip. :) I'm using CDR's that I have burned on my plex too. They play as well as a new CD. For the price I have to say this is the way to go until the major players start building MP3 reading portable CD's. The Rio Volt is supposed to have some new stuff out around Christmas. I hope it is good.

Summary: A great CD player for the price...
Review: At [the price offered], this CD player is a steal. It is small and stylish, and has great sound quality. The bass boost has two levels and it sounds unbelievably good. ESPMAX is not a good a G-Protection, but the difference is subtle. Battery life is also good, I get about 20+ hours every time I put in fresh batteries.

On the box is says limited CD-R playback capability, so I was skeptical about buying it because I burn a lot of CDs. Thankfully I have had no problems with it playing my burned music.

The only gripe I have (and it's a tiny one) is that there is no pause button. To compensate for that Sony made the stop button have a double function. 1) it turns the cd player off. 2) when you turn it on again it will start at the Exact place you stoppped it, so in essence the sotp button is a psuedo pause button.

Summary: I LOVE THIS CD PLAYER!
Review: I absolutely love this Cd player! When I first bought it I was looking for the pause button but then I later found out if you turn it off it'll go back to the same spot you left it at. You can save battery life with that feature. It plays all my burnt cds. I do everything with this Cd player like rollerblading, running, everything and it never skips. Great price for a great product. You won't be disappointed.

Summary: Cheap and GREAT
Review: I've had this amazing CD player for almost 3 years. It has survived being dropped dozens of times and it never skips. The design is light, thin and stylish. It packs all the functions needed into 3 buttons - stop&pause, back and play&forward. The buttons took getting used to at first, but now I miss them when I use other CD players. Other owners of this CD player model stop me on the street to rave "Isn't that the greatest CD walkman ever?!"

Summary: Sony:King of C.D. Players!!!!
Review: The Sony DE220 is the best CD Player I've seen. I bought it a few weeks ago and it's lovely. I even dropped it once, but the sound quality is just as good and unaffected. It looks good, too. I have the silver-coloured one and it's really cute. Sony is a very good brand and it makes excellent products. The buttons are nice, 'cause they make a 'beep' sound when you press play or stop or something. I like the Sony Walkman hologram at the bottom. All-in-all, I have no complaints and love the player.

Review: This c.d player is the best i have ever bought. It just does not skip!!! even with the esp off it does not skip. it's amazing. they come in four colors: silver, red, navy blue, and yellow. i have the yellow one. it also has a cute design. It is not big and bulky. it is nice and round. i like the sony hologram on it too. i think sony had defenitley struck gold with this one. many of the people i know have this c.d. player. The only thing it does not have is a pause button. but thats ok because the stop button doubles up. if you press it it will stop and when you turn the c.d player back on it will start from where you left off. i do not care for the headphones though. i would reccomend the street style ones. the ones with the clip on colors. it matched the yellow and red player. well this is all i have to say for now. so get up and go buy it. you will NOT be dissapointed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Summary: great!!!!!
Review: This CD player is the best I've ever seen, real cheap and doesn't even skip wwith out the ESP on. I tested this cd player jogging, jumping on a trampoline, dropping it 4 feet, and smacking it without the protection on, and it never ever skips. Very compact and stylish also. I've owned many portable cd players, this IS the best!!!!!
