Action's MP3-CD-compatible ACN-1100 is a perfectly compact and affordable CD player for home or travel. Playback options include a generous 64-track programming, 120-second anti-skip protection during MP3 playback (40 seconds for audio CDs), and a bass-boost circuit for enhancing your music's low frequencies. MP3 compatibility extends to discs with 128 directories and up to 448 files with bit rates ranging from 32 kbps to near-CD-quality 320 kbps. An auxiliary output lets you hook the player up with your home system through a stereo "Y" interconnect (supplied). The unit's single-line LCD shows track number and track time. A hold switch prevents unintended interruptions in playback and saves batteries by negating playback when the player is stopped. Included for your listening pleasure are stereo headphones and a battery-saving 4.5-volt AC-DC adapter. The player runs for six to eight hours on two AA batteries (also supplied).
