Summary: MegaBass Functions For CD Player But Not Radio
Review: At first glance, this CD player excited me because it is very ergonomic, looks super cool, is lightweight, has very stable playback (with G-Protection), and reads regular CD, CD-R, and CD-RW formats. However if like me, you like your music with bass boost for deeper, richer bass tones, you'll be disappointed because the MegaBass works only for the CD player but not for the radio. If this little downside doesn't bother you, then get this product - it's a great CD player with a radio added on...

Summary: A Great CD-Player
Review: I got this cd player about a year ago, and I have to say that mine, compared to those of my friends, is a lot better and is much better looking as well. The radio is very good, but it's not like this amazing eye-popping experience. It will get fuzzy if it's out of range of the radio station, and can cause me some bad ear-popping. The beep is slightly annoying, but I'm used to it, so when I change to a different song, I don't hear much of anything. Those who complain about it should be able to get used to it if they listen to it enough. In a way, I find it useful as an alert to tell me that I forgot to turn it off and it's still in use.
Like most players, it can be hooked up to the car WITHOUT the car-ready version. A wired cassette hooked into where the headphones belong can solve the problem of wiring it to the car. The car-ready version I didn't bother with, so I recommend that you do the same, because from reviews it's not as good. The best part about this one in the car (besides the fact that you can take it out or hook it up in two seconds), is that once it's hooked in, the player can move around almost everywhere in the car. I have an old Nissan Quest, and the player can move to the front side seats, on the floor, in the middle row, and can almost reach to the back, allowing almost anyone in the car to have control when they can get it. You can also continue using the volume control up to a certain extent.
I'm not going to tell you that this machine is this perfect ingenious item. IT DOES SKIP SOMETIMES. However, it has only skipped on me twice or three times at the most, so if you decide to get this machine I hope that you get the same results. When it does fall to the floor, it makes an awful sound, but it remains intact, so don't purposely slam it into the ground.
The "radio off" button serves as a stopper for the radio and the cd, so if you press the button, the cd will stop, and when you press "play" again, it will resume to the exact point from which you left off. What is slightly a nuisance is the fact that if you want to stop the cd completely and start the cd over from the beginning, you need to press the "open" button, which means that you have to wait a couple of seconds before the cd is recognized again. The bass is pretty good, although it is really weird on my Simple Plan cd, although that might be because of the fact that I've had it since Christmas. Those same buttons (the "+" and "-"), are a little bit confusing when applied to the radio when they're used in that way for the first time, but after that they get easier.
The headphones that come with this cd-player are pretty good, although I switched them for the street-style with a friend and I consider them much better.
I enjoy downloading most of my songs as opposed to buying separate cds, so when I got this, I expected it to play my burnt cds as well, and it did, with flying colors.
All in all, I think that this cd-player is one of the best players around. I have recommended this to all my friends, and I even managed to convince my mother about buying this. She is very pleased with this model too. I hope that if you get this, you enjoy this player as much as I have and still do.

Review: I have dropped this cd player on the floor millions upon millions of times and it has never broken. It is amazing how much damage it can take. The only problem is that the skip is not very good compared to other cd players. But if you want a good dependable cd player, here is one for you.

Summary: sleek look, great sound!
Review: I just received this product the other day and have been enjoying it since. It's difficult to find a portable CD player AND radio that has great sound, is sleek looking and lightweight and is reasonably priced. I'd definitely recommend this product.

Summary: I can't break it!
Review: I'm naturally very hard on my portable CD players. I drop them often, throw them around when I get angry, and leave them in the car etc. Usually they break pretty fast...

But then, shopping one day at target I find a pretty cool looking player for a good price that has the radio. I buy it, and I've basically listened to it since I bought it almost 2 years ago.

The sound is very good, although I'd like the volume to be a little louder. It plays all the kinds of CD's I have, so no problems there. The radio is very good, but not perfect. The buttons are pretty easy, although I still haven't figured out the pre-set buttons it doesnt really matter because it saves the station you're on.

One con is the annoying beeping sound it makes when you change a track or pause it. I have gotten used to it, but it never stops being annoying.

And, back to the durability. I've dropped this over and over, even down the stairs and it hasn't broken. My dog even got it once... and it still plays. After some hard falls you sometimes need to play with the insides a little (my way of fixing CD players) and it always works. If you want something that won't break *ever* then this is the player for you!

I admit it does skip sometimes, but this only began to happen recently (over the last few weeks). Maybe the poor thing is running out of juice. It could be my stupid CD burner that has been producing faulty unfinished CDs recently, but I'm not so sure...

Anyway, this is a very good investment especially considering the used ones are like, $40. Trust me, this thing is unbreakable.
