Summary: stylish, stunning, very reliable
Review: I had a canon s520 but i sold it because it went bad and I needed to replace the head which costed more than the printer. I'm glad i got the photosmart 7150. its so much better. the prints come out soo good on 4x6 using the photo tank. also i found out hp ink tanks come with heads on them so you'll get a good printing everytime. the ink tanks might cost a bit more but if you put your quality in the settings to like "draft" or "everyday" printing then you'll save a lot of money. go buy this!! its very affordable too.

Summary: Great photo quality printer
Review: I purchased this printer for the sole purpose of printing pictures from my digital camera and I'm not disappointed. The print quality is unbelievable. I love that it comes with a separate paper tray for 4x6 paper making it unnecessary to change paper to print pictures. The photo editing software that comes with the printer is nice but is lacking in features. I edit my pictures using another software package and then use the HP software to print because of the various layouts available and the ease of use. For printing pictures your not likely to find a better printer in this price range.

Review: I replaced an HP 882C printer with this one and I am more than pleased. This printer was easy to set up and the quality of photos are unbelievable for the price.

Summary: Great Photos
Review: I was new to digital photography and wanted a good quality printer without a lot of bells and whistles. I edit all my photos on my computer so I wasn't interested in printing and editing my pictures on the printer itself. You can use a usb cable and load to the printer but I don't use this feature. I have owned this printer since it first hit the shelves last year and have not had one problem with it. It is quiet and is puts out a great digital picture.

Summary: Excellent Photo Printer
Review: I've had this printer for more than a month now and I'm amazed at the quality of photos it prints out. It also has a convenient tray specially designed for 4x6 photos. I've also tried printing 8x10s and they came out very sharp and clear.
It prints text very well also and at decent speeds. Overall, a very good printer for both text and photos.

Summary: HP 7150
Review: My HP 7150 prints nice photographs. The quality is very good, but I have had a lot of difficulty getting 4x6 sizes of paper to feed properly.

Also, business letters are important to me and I can't get envelopes to feed properly.

It has been frustrating not having availability of free customer service.

I will probably replace this unit with an Epson in the near future.

Summary: Beyond All Expectations!
Review: Put the old camera & film in the attic for nostalgia sake! Get a 2 MP digital or higher and print your photos with this printer! The 4"x6" tray is a plus for album & framed prints and the 8x10 tray is fine for multiple prints on one page (called albums). I use desktop publishing programs to create collages of pictures as well. The photo print quality of the HP is magnificent! People who see my photos cannot believe a printer produced them with such vivid color and clarity. I have made "memories" CD's using my cdwriter and imported background music for the "slide shows". The HP software does it all - follow the directions. User friendly and the ink goes a long way! Don't pass on this one - I paid ... only 3 months ago and it's worth much more -it's on sale so run for it! Print only what you like and you will LOVE what you print!

Summary: Excellent Photos at half price of other printers
Review: Recently I have purchased this Printer and being a perfectionist
as well as a Computer Tech I will relate my findings. About a year ago I got into Digital Imaging, and purchased a Nikon
Coolpix 995 camera and was using the Lexmark 3200 with Photo
Cartridge to print out my pictures. This printer allways printed well but was slow as sin and noisey.
So I started to research all possible resources online for input on purchasing a new higher quality Photo Printer.
The Cannon S900 was my intial choice due to it's excellent quality prints, but it had problems printing text documents, and
the Print Head/Nozzels were not user replaceable, which means if you do alot of printing they will eventually wear out and degrade print quality. On the other hand if used it to little the nozzles tend to clog up meaning an expensive trip to the repair shop for Printer Head replacement if the printer cannot be cleaned thruthe nozzle cleaning function in the software.

The new improved HP Photoprinters as well as the Deskjet 5550
have regained their six colors for printing buy using a Photo
Cartridge which can be swaped with a Black ink Catridge for accurate text printing. Also the HP Printers have the nozzles built into the Ink Cartridges, meaning if they cannot be cleaned when clogged up you can simply purchase a new Cartridge
which will resolve the problem as well as getting better print quality via the new nozzles.
Unless you would want to print direct from the printer without a computer, which you can do in the 7350 and the 7550 via thier
Card readers, and thier Printout Previews mode, and dont forget the giant size 1.5 inch color LCD Monitor built into the 7550 which obviouslly cannot show much detail.(I would rather veiw the photos on my 19 inch monitor and adjust them if need be thru software. Also all three Photsmart printers can print directly from Some newer HP Digital Cameras from the front USB connection.
The 7150 has the same Excellent print quality as the two more expensive units without the expensive options as mentioned above. The only faults found on my printer are a touchy 4X6inch
Photo paper holder, hard to load just right, and on some 4X6 Borderless prints the printer does not stop printing at the end of the photo and paper does not release. This problem if found is fixed by updating the Drivers from HP website.
Definitely do not pass up checking out this printer, the results are gorgeous.Puts my Lexmark to shame.

Summary: Solid product
Review: Simply put, it has a basic design, it does what it's supposed to, and it does it well. Only issues are ink usage, but that's an issue with everyone! if you have a new mac or upgraded to osX10.2 you do'nt have to install or download software, it's already on your computer! just plug it in and go.
I'm a digital photographer, and as far as home printers go, it works really well.. So well that I can see how poorly I've been making some of my recent photo's!

Summary: Not happy
Review: The first problem i noticed was that the paper feed was *very* particular. to do test prints, i had to *hand feed* a single sheet of paper in. Whenever i tried to load several sheets, the printer said the size was wrong.
After hours of tests & trials, i could only get 1/2 of an 8.5x11 print to print out - images OR text. There is no 800 Customer Service line - it's long distance.
Maybe i just got a bum unit - but i was not happy with the support they offered for the product.
Printers should be on par with telephones - plug & play.
