Review: Bought this printer @ Amazon.com on sale with free shipping. EASY installation & setup and the QUALITY of the photos is simply AMAZING. No one I showed them to could tell that my prints were not from a photo developing lab. Good documentation too. Just be sure to buy the USB cable which is not included. This is an AWESOME printer for VERY little money. HIGHLY recommend. I was a little doubtful as I have always used & like HP printers but this Canon is GREAT.

Summary: Best Photo & All-Around Printer [for price]
Review: Good price. Cheapest overall cost of ownership because inkjets are cheaper than any HP or Epson and last a very long time (don't worry about it having 1 color cartridge vs. 3 or more separate color cartridges, it's still very cheap). Photo quality comparable to lab. Very good text on plain paper, even in draft mode, and better than Canon i850. Graphics (webpages and photoshop images) are better than i850. Get this over the Canon i850 UNless you're going to print more photos than text (the i850 is slightly better but only under intense scrutiny). Also, this printer can take different kinds of camera media (cf, sm) while the i850 can't. Had it for a month, no problems whatsoever. For the cost of photo quality paper & ink get this printer, otherwise go to a photolab to get your digital pictures printed.

Review: I bought this printer b/c I needed to do color prints and my HP wasn't doing justice.
I LOVE this printer. I got it with a rebate, but it is worth the $99.99 retail 100%.
My pictures are AWESOME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I show them to others and no one could tell I printed them myself. I am in awe of the printer. My sister and brother saw my picture quality and now they are BOTH buying one of these.
It was easy putting it together, and came with some good software too.
Very easy to use. You think it might be hard b/c of all the features, but it's very user-friendly.The only thing that might annoy you is it does make a bit of noise while it's loading to print and when it's done. Because the outcome is fabulous, this doesn't bother me at all. Note also, that I used the Canon glossy paper, then also with the HP photo glossy paper, the Canon paper had better results. Much cleaner than the HP. I highly recommend this.

Review: I cannot believe the quality of the photos that come out of this very inexpensive printer! Pictures look like they came from a photo-lab. I bought an Epson last year that I paid 3 times as much for that I have been very disappointed in. This Canon performs a 1000% better. Some of the great features are:
Easy borderless prints, built in card reader, printing directly from cards. Best printer I have bought (and I have bought many and paid alot more). Ink cartridges are also very reasonable.

Blazing fast with excellent skintone and resolution on a variety of papers. Don't get me wrong, the Epsons will give great results of you use the proper paper and print settings, but I found that if I used the highest quality settings the Epson's seemed to dump and waste ink. With the Canon I print at highest quality and get photos that look like photos, not like inkjet printouts that can't be touched lest you mar the surface. The fact that this printer can support direct printing from digicams and memory cards is an added bonus. Lastly, its very economical in the use of ink. And one more time, this printer is FAST!

Summary: the cheapest, but precisely the best!!!!
Review: I got this printer at $50 dollars, and I can say it is the best $50 that i've ever spent. The printing quality of this printer is simply flawless. Go check out all those fancy inkjet printers and I haven't found anything that offers better picture quality than this one. The ink consumption is tremendously efficient, as it seems to print out 5 times of more 4 x 6 pictures with 1/3 of ink. (I also have Epson C60... and I don't know what to do with this crappy thingie.) There are also lots of features of printer that impressed me. Buy this one... and you will never regret.

Summary: Fantastic printer at a cheap price
Review: I got this printer by accident after returning an Epson 925 from the demo table at Best Buy. The Epson did not work. This printer was marked down to $39.95 and had two full ink cartridges and all the software, book and so on. I had been an Epson diehard fan until I installed and printed with this printer. I was stunned at the excellent quality of all the prints - photo and other - and the ease of installation. The ink cartridges are cheap, but small. Still, I would buy this printer at full price which averages $99. I love this printer. I also have an older Epson 1200 Stylus Color that cost $500 new and it does not print photos as sharp and good as the Canon. I am now an i470 Canon convert. Buy this printer and you will be a happy camper!

Summary: Best Printer that i ever got !!
Review: I love this canon printer! My Lexmark printer was braken just because it was paper jammed, so I got this canon i470D. I need to tell everyone how wonderful this printer is! It makes a little noise sometimes when it's not printing like its processing something, but the noise is nothing compare to it's fast and beautiful print out. The best thing is that the cost of ink is a big saving!!! black ink is under $10 (i got it for $7) and color ink is around $15. I am so happy that i finally get rid of the Lexmark...its ink is more expansive than the printer! I also have to state that the canon technical support is super professional! If you have trouble installing the printer or any question, just call them and they will solve your problem right away. If you can't decide which printer to buy, this is the one! (and it saves you money in long term) just don't forget to get a 2.0 interface USB cable because it's NOT INCLUDED.
